"Are you sure you really want to leave now? I mean, your father and I would like you to at least stay another couple months before you go." My mother said, a worried look spread across her face. I had recently told my mom I wanted to move out. It was only natural since I finally completed high school. She still thinks of me as a baby even though I'm an adult now. Usually parents kick out their children to have them grow and cope being without them after so long. I was the little few that wanted to actually leave and start growing and knowing what I want to do with my life. Sighing, I looked at my mom with a straight face. "Yes, I'm sure. I don't want to bother you both with taking care of me for those months. Besides, I have a job and I saved up enough to get a small apartment. I can do this mom okay? Plus I'm going to college this fall so I'll be okay." I replied, smiling. That was another thing. I had gotten a full scholarship to a college of my choice and decided to start now. Well, in the fall. I'll probably be there for a couple of years to get a degree in whatever is interesting to me. "Instead of wasting your money on an apartment why don't you get a dorm? It'll be better on your budget." Mom said as she sat on my bed. That honestly would be better then getting an apartment for now. "I. . I guess that would be okay." I said, sighing as my mom smiled. "Great! Now, your father and I will pay for your dorm. No buts! Anything other then that you're going to have to get by yourself. Deal?" She questioned. "Agreed; Thank you!" I answered as she gave me a hug. I hugged back automatically. After a minute a heard some sniffles coming from her. I pulled back from the hug and looked at my mom to realize she was crying. "My baby is already off to collage! You're going up so fast!" She wailed. Oh geeze here we go again. After talking to her for an hour she had finally left. Lets see. . I at least have a good two months before fall. What can I even do until then? Sighing to myself, I get up from my bed and walk over to my closet. It's only been two weeks since graduation. I've already packed most of my stuff. Now some of it is going to have to stay here while I'm at the dorms. All I really need is clothes, personal hygiene stuff, undergarments, and a little bit of other stuff to decorate the place. I wonder if I'll have a roommate? Though did it really matter at this point in time? Nah, everything would be figured out sorta when I get there. Turning off the light to my room, I go and lay down on my bed. The TV was turned on and thrown on there was the news. On the news was a story about a man's house getting broken into while his fiancé was kidnapped from him. Though, I didn't get to hear the rest of the horrible story, seeing as I dosed off slowly and eventually fell asleep.
