There was once a boy, a boy of unknown species, origin, or name.
His hair was thick, dark blue like the pacific.
His skin was pale-violet, like a rose's pedal.
His eyes were the color of the earthly sky above him.
Alas, the color of the sky was blockaded by a roof... This boy will be one of our main heroes through this journey, his name? Well, you can call him whatever you like. But I called him by one name when he first came into the facility... I present to you the story of me; of friends;
of us.

The Bizarre: Part 1

-----------------------------

My name is Theodore.

Theodore McConnell.

I used to work at a facility. Yes, this facility I stand in at this very moment. They call it 'The Enigma Facility'. I worked with 'The Enigma Cooperation' or as I called it, 'T.E.C.'. Allow me to describe my appearance.
A fairly average sized, yet somewhat delicate man. Delicate, physically and mentally...
I obtained blonde, puffy and curly hair, looking similar to a small 'afro' and pale skin that you could almost see through if you looked close enough.
Finally, i had hazel eyes that my closest ones claimed to be as beautiful as nature could ever make.

When working with T.E.C., the facility always held unearthly beings, monsters, and aliens for the world's protection when some of these creatures, such as the humanoids, simply wanted to be free and did not wish to harm... But we harmed them anyway... One fateful night, I carried in the boy I described at the beginning, he appeared to beg, but I could not do anything.

This job was everything i had, without it; I could not live, for this was the only job that would take anyone like me.

I could never understand what the mysterious, new specimen, the blue haired boy was trying to speak of, for his language was unfamiliar to any man I knew... And we locked him up in a cage similar to that of a cell, like the one I was put in long ago when I was just 13... I am 19 years of age now, and although I was bailed out by my brother, my parents did not want me around them because of my 'crimes' long ago.

April, a mysterious girl, came striding down the hall. "What's this new specimen?" She asked me. I responded to her almost immediately, but with some hesitation, "we suspect it's not from this world..." She then stared, I felt my face flush, I have never gotten this much attention from her before... I never really did have feelings for her but today she seemed more beautiful than ever; her hair, slightly orange in color, was long, her skin looked smooth even without having to touch it.
her green eyes reflected the light in the room.
I have never seen her ears before, and I have always been curious as to why she hid her ears from anyone she met...

I investigated the new specimen, he struggled to stand up after the tranquilizer liquid we injected into him, he staggered like a newborn deer to his feet, he shouted in that undecipherable language at me... I felt grief invade my heart and mind just looking at him. Even worse was the human next to his cell, she was captured too, and experimented on to make her a lycanthrope. Her name was Carol, a 16 year old girl that cried constantly. She was taken from home long ago... I hope that this new specimen won't be experimented on like Carol was...

"Why am I here...?" Carol whimpered...

The founder has awoken; he is walking toward Carol's cage...
This man was tall, wore a cloak on his overall body.
His face was paler than mine; his teeth were yellowed as well.
And the worst part was the always bloodshot and dark eyes that would focus long and hard on you; on your very soul.

"Stop being such babies..." The founder spoke as he knocked on Carol's cage, causing her to weep even more... He was a very cruel man.
"What have we got here...?" He asked curiously, "a new specimen...?" He stared at the boy, the new specimen, who sat in the cage, the boy was curled up in what seemed to be fear, fear for his own life. He didn't want to be here anymore than Carol did.

Not even anymore than I wanted to be here.

"Yes, this just came in today," April replied to the founder, "It doesn't seem to be human, although he resembles one in many ways."
The founder stared down the boy, he looked at his eyes, and I did as well.
his eyes appeared to be reptilian in a way, or even that of a feline. The founders stare was fixated on this mysterious boy.
"I will report this... thing... to the scientist." The founder abruptly said "we will see if he's fit enough for the experiments tomorrow..."

A wave of dread hit me like a brick wall, I was once again fearful for a new specimen, this one was too innocent to fall in the hands of the ghouls they test them on... "But sir! very few have survived that test! this ones clearly innocent!" I wanted to say... but I stayed silent, since I knew the founder would possibly fire me if I even dare say such a word back to his orders.

As The founder went into his office to speak with the only remaining scientist, April stood outside carols cage. She stared at Carol, who wasn't weeping anymore, but she appeared to be sleeping, I could tell by her chest rising up and down as she lay there on the cold, hard floor.

"I know how you feel..." A voice said, I turned to see April looking at me.

"I've had to deal with it for a while now..." she said to me.

I realized what she meant immediately. I responded to her comment, "Its very wrong isn't it? Locking up innocent creatures just for research?"

"Not all these creatures are so innocent, there are monsters in here that need to be shielded from society, otherwise they may destroy it"

I stayed silent at that comment, I didn't respond right away... "Do you think we should try and free them?"

She then went silent as well, her gaze turned to the boy, then back to Carol's cage. "I'll consider your thoughts, Theo."

The founder eventually strolled out of his office, he came my way and stated he wanted to speak with me. He claimed the scientist said that the new specimen was 'Ready for the test'...
