The apartment building looks too nice for someone to be ordering 6 boxes of cupcakes from the small bakery you work for. You got it as a summer job so you can buy more band merchandise and concert tickets without having to steal your parents money. You knock on the door and wait for the customer to answer. When the door opens you're expecting maybe a man in his thirties throwing a birthday party for one of his kids or a teenager throwing a party or something like that; but when it opens you saw god himself. Andy Fucking Biersack. He's there, in front of you, looking a little annoyed until his eyes land on your pale, scarred, uniformed body. He bites his lip as you stand there staring wide eyed.
"Can I help you?" He smiles as he watches you open and close your mouth like a fish.
"Uh, ah, um... Di-did you order cup-cupcakes?" You squeak out. He chuckles at your nervousness.
"I don't think we did. One sec." He flashes you a smile as he goes off to check with whoever else is in the apartment. You bite your lip and try not to scream at how idiotic that sentence sounded. He comes back to see you with your head against the wall. "What's up, cutie?" He asks you as he notices you looking embarrassed.
"N-noth-thing..." You stutter again. You straighten up and avoid eye contact. He tilts his head to the side to attempt to see your face through your black side fringe covering your eyes. He chuckles deeply at your nervousness again. You groan by accident causing him to laugh more.
"We didn't order any cupcakes but I wouldn't mind taking them off your hands." He offers in a joking manner. You look up at him through the strands of hair. You struggle with the 6 boxes in your arms but eventually get them into a better position to hold.
"Oh. Sorry for bothering you." You blurt out quickly before turning to go back to the bakery.
"Wait." He says quickly before you can walk away forever. "What's your name?" He asks you.
"Y/N." You answer quickly before beginning to walk away again.
"Can I have your number?" He asks. You nod and hand him a piece of paper with your number already written on it. He smiles at you as you turn and walk away.

You make it back to the bakery and tell your boss, Mr Hughes, that you were sent to the wrong place. He rolls his eyes at you and tells you to call the customer to ask for the correct address. You do your job and eventually get an answer. You drop the cupcakes off at a child's birthday party half an hour late and get lectured by both the customer and his wife send your boss.
After you finish your shift you head back home. You walk all the way home with Blink-182's newest album 'California' playing through your purple earphones. You see people pointing and laughing at you but you block them out. You know you look different and you like it that way. Why should you be a Barbie doll like everyone else when you can be whoever you want?
You reach your home and ignore your Mum's complaints about how you still have clothes on your floor from last night. You brush your teeth and wash your face before going to your room, closing the goddamn door behind you; and getting changed into your comfortable black joggers and a running shirt. You didn't do sports but the top made it seem like you did. You climb into bed, grabbing your laptop from under your bed and watch anime until you're too tired to concentrate on it. You turn off your laptop, put it back under your bed and check your phone for messages before going to sleep.
