Dean didn't come to, and Sam finally realized that there would have to be medical help. He called Bobby Singer.
"Hello," the man answered.
"Bobby," Sam managed to get out.
"Hey, Sam. How are you boys doing?"
"I think Dean needs a doctor."
"Tell me what happened," their mentor ordered.
Sam explained the situation while the older man listened quietly.
"He was tied to a chair? Did he seem all right?"
"You know Dean. He usually has tells, but this time there was nothing."
"Give me the symptoms again?"
Sam repeated them, hoping Bobby could help.
"He needs a hospital, boy."
"I'm not near any place right now, Bobby. I didn't take him because I wasn't sure it was that bad, but he's not waking up."
"How far are you from Sioux Falls?"
"About a day."
"How far are you if you if you were hurt, and Dean was driving?"
"Five or six hours."
"Drive like Dean," the older hunter ordered.
"Yes, Sir, Bobby."
Sam got off the phone and put his foot down heavily on the gas pedal.
