Lauren POV:
So it's been ten years. I'm twenty three now. I'll give you a bit of a catch up.
After the accident ten years ago Jesy went into a coma and we weren't sure if she would survive or not but she's fine now thank god. We all survived, with some sort of injury but we all survived.
What else is there to update you on? Oh yeah the girls are on tour so I'm babysitting my niece Ella-Jane, you remember her right? The cute three year old from ten years ago, well she's thirteen now and she is just the sweetest... when I can get her out of her room that is. Anyway the girls are coming back from tour in about two weeks so then things will be back to normal.
Ella POV:
I'm sat in my room, which is nothing unusual nowadays, checking my social media to see what my Mam's and Aunts are up to when a notification comes up, I don't pay attention to the name just what was being said.
You're so fat and ugly Ella-Jane see you tomorrow bitch.
I sigh and scroll down but the negative comments keep coming. There's a knock at my door. "Come in." I yell, I don't bother to minimise the social media page because my Aunt Lauren never checks it she trusts me to tell her if stuff is happening but I haven't told her about school or the online comments.
"You okay Ells?" She asks sitting next to me on my bed. "I haven't seen you all day, you only came down for breakfast because I yelled for you, what's wrong beautiful?"
"Nothing Lauren I swear." I say hoping to convince her.
"You would tell me right?" I nod and she pulls me in for a hug, I love my Aunt but she gets so overprotective.
Lauren POV:
When I'm talking to Ella I see a notification pop up on her social media. Ella you fat... is all I see of the message. "What was that?" I ask.
"N...Nothing."
"Ella don't lie I saw the first part of the notification now give me your phone."
"No way." She rolls her eyes, that's the first time she's ever spoke to me like that.
"Ella-Jane Edwards-Thirlwall hand your phone over now please." I say sternly, she growls slightly but hands her phone over, I scroll through all her social media accounts seeing hundreds upon hundreds of hate messages and threats. "Ella." I sigh. "Why didn't you tell me?"
"It's just hate right? I just don't let it get to me, they can't hurt me." She tries to convince me but I'm doubtful so I check out some of the Facebook profiles.
"Ella they go to your school, look I'm not angry that you didn't tell me because now I know I can deal with it but I am disappointed because I trusted you to come to me about stuff like this."
" Lauren I'm not a little kid I can handle it." She almost yells.
"Woah chill out kiddo, listen I know what you're going through."
"How can you? You never went to school."
"Oh really?" I say going onto my online profile and pulling up a picture of the girls and I when I was in my school uniform. "So I never went to school then?" I question showing her the picture.
"I don't understand you never left to go to school like I did, you were home all day with Mam,Mamma and my Aunts.
"Yeah they home schooled me after I came to live with Pez, your Mam."
"So why didn't they home school me?"
"You loved being with the other children at school so they just let you keep going... do you know why they home schooled me?"
