Big Decisions- a Danisnotonfire / Dan Howell Fanfic (Sequel to I Chose You)

Chapter 1: Fighting.

LIA POV.

The next morning, I woke up in a daze, confused about the night before. 

I looked over at Dan, who wore a innocent expression on his face as he slept contently. I smiled to myself as I looked over at the clock, as I remembered where we were. One of the most romantic places in the world.

Last night we did a lot of sight seeing. I had never walked so much, my feet were in pain. I wriggled my toes, stretching my feet and smiled as I felt no pain anymore. Never will I ever appreciate being able to rest my feet more than now. As I stretched, I noticed Dan stirring, his arms around me tightening as his eyes fluttered open. A smirk formed on his lips as he caught me watching him, and he nestled up closer to me. 

"Morning, babe. What are we doing today?"

"Well I'm climbing the Leaning Tower of Pisa today, what about you?" I giggled, and Dan smiled back at me. 

"How was the video making yesterday?"

"Good." I nodded. The twins were acting a little weird around me, I don't know why but overall I think I have enough footage for the video. "The viewers will love it."

"That's good." Dan reached over to grab his phone, then checked his messages. "Jess text me to tell us to quieten down."

"We're not loud, are we?" I felt my eyes widen, and Dan smirked at me. 

"Babe, I think she meant about last night."

"Oh." I felt my mouth pop open. "Oops." I felt the heat run to my cheeks as I thought back to last night, where we realized that we could rent an xbox and games from the reception so we were practically yelling at the TV screen as I kicked Dan's ass at Halo. "Who knew I was so competitive at Xbox?"

Dan chuckled, settling back into his pillows. "I let you win."

"Keep telling yourself that!" I giggled. "They shouldn't have got a room next to us. At least Jack and Finn had some sense."

"Well I had a fun night." Dan grinned, taking my hand. "Fancy doing it again tonight?"

"It would be a pleasure." I laughed, jumping out of bed, heading to the bathroom to get ready. Dan came in half way through brushing my teeth to brush his own teeth, and then I headed to the balcony, opening the glass doors as I took in the view of Italy. I felt arms wrap around my waist, and I turned around to see Dan looking out at the view, impressed. His eyes fell on me, and he ducked his head to mine, brushing his lips with mine slowly, before kissing me. He sighed loudly as he broke away, resting his forehead on mine. 

"I don't mean to sound awkward but...how long are you going to take deciding?"

Instantly I knew what he meant, and the smile dropped from my face and my eyes cast downwards as I walked around Dan to go back inside, but Dan grabbed my hand.

"Wait, wait. Lia. I know you need time but...ah this is so difficult." Dan groaned, going back inside and sitting on the bed, resting his head in his hands. 

It was quiet for a few minutes, where Dan just stared at me, trying to see into my soul or something. I felt a frown form on my face, and I shook my head. 

"What, you don't want to wait? Like you didn't want to wait for me to pop out your kid? This is why I can't trust that you'll stay focused on just me. Because already you've changed your mind, haven't you." I muttered, tears filling my eyes, and Dan shook his head. 

"No I haven't. I said it was hard- that doesn't mean I'm not committed to making the effort in sticking through this mess! I got myself into it, I'm getting myself out of it, too."

As soon as he saw my face crinkle up and tears stream down my face, he jumped up and crashed into me, bringing me into a big hug. 

"I didn't mean to make you cry, baby. I'm sorry."

"Why is this so hard!" I cried into his chest. "I want to be your girlfriend, I really do. But I don't know if things will be okay after. What if...what if you change your mind again. Do you know how much it hurt when you made me leave? You couldn't even look at me." I mumbled incoherently as Dan held me against him. 

"Shh...Lia...do you remember what I felt when I first met you?"

"Besides a drug using broken person?" I smiled slightly to myself, and Dan chuckled quietly, sniffling. 

"No, I thought you were beautiful, passionate...amazing. Now that list just keep on getting longer on how amazing you are. That's why I love you so much, babe."

I grinned from ear to ear, lifting my head to look up at him. "Really?"

"Really." Dan smiled at me, kissing my forehead. "Because I love you so much, it's just hard for me to see you and not be able to call you mine."

I lifted my head to stare into his dark brown eyes, then down at his lips.

"I'd like it if you call me yours again." Dan's eyes widened slightly, and he grinned widely. 

"Are you sure about this?" He placed his hands on my hips, and I nodded, grinning as Dan pulled me into a kiss, pulling me down on top of him as he fell onto our bed, and he then whispered that he loved me into my ear. 

WOOP WOOP! So to anyone who is reading like this and thinking "I'm so confused what is this." WELL, this is the sequel to my first fanfiction I Chose You!
