Chapter one: First Impression

Part II

P.S: I'm doing this chapter and the rest of the story as a third person point of view because I find that more appealing to read and more fun.

I hope you enjoyed part one and I hope that you enjoy part two as well.

Thank you for reading.

Life has its Ups and Downs, right? When you fall, you will always find someone or something there for you to help you get up on your feet one more time to complete this path we call "life". And whenever you're in need of someone, all you do is bring the phone close to your ear and talk to them. Being around people we love and love us is our goal in life, right? Being happy and surrounded by what or who we love is what we want.

We wake up every day, forgetting the yesterday and forgiving the tomorrow. We forget the pain and sorrow we left with the yesterday, in hope of a better and brighter day. We forgive the tomorrow, because we know that it has many secrets that we will never be able to know, some of these secrets will make us sad and others will make us happy. But in both cases, the past and the future, we will never be able to change it no matter how much we tried, because it has been written by fate long time ago. Our lives have been written, and we are not capable of changing it, not matter how hard we try.

Fate. It controls us with everything we do, with the people we meet, with the things we see. You might have been injured or died in some night when you were walking alone, but because fate chose for you to take a turn to the right or made you look at the direction of the attack, it was able to save your life.

We should be thankful for fate. It gave us a second chance to make up for our mistakes, the mistakes we left with the yesterday, and waking up every day is another gift it has given us that we should be thankful for. And everything that fate does is Right in every way. You might say "why would a baby die all of a sudden?" well maybe that baby was supposed to grow up to be a killer or hurt people, if he stayed alive. Fate does things that we might not approve but we live it anyway. And we might say that the death of thousands of people is unfair, but fate has its own reasons.

Memories flooded of the childhood Ivy lived with the Wilsons, and how fate chose for her the way of life she never wanted. How it chose for her things she never asked for. And how the young girl she was, was filled with confusion from the beginning of her life. How she had to deal with things that other people don't. While they gave up on their lives, she kept fighting for what belongs to her. Only her.

By time, she lost that need to fight. But she didn't give up on life just yet. She always had that tiny drop of hope that kept her moving on this earth. She never knew what that thing was that kept her going was but it did anyway. No matter how many times she tried to end her sorrow and pain by ending her life, it stopped her every time. Every time.

Ivy was feeling extremely happy with her new family, she was happy with the new royal treatment she got, even thou its not a royal treatment but its still is to her. With the big room she got and the brand new furnisher that is made only for her. The goodnight kisses and the love that is showing in their eyes whenever they looked at her.

But at the same time, even thou she is only a 5 years old, she knew that once all of that will fall apart and everything will change. Change to the worse. Her happiness will change to sadness. The eyes filled with love will change into hate and her royal treatment into servant treatment.

She didn't know from were did she get her wisdom but thought that all kids her age are the same as her, because she heard adults saying how children these days are so smart.
