"Let's give a warm welcome to Aurora Dunkirk!" The host of the late-night show, a woman called Trisha, grinned to the applauding audience.
Aurora walked onto the stage, her first public appearance since the premiere of Avengers: Age of Ultron eight months ago. She looked drastically different; her limbs were as thin as twins and her cheeks were sunken, bones prominent under her skin.
"Hey, Aurora!" Trisha greeted cheerfully, giving the brunette a hug as they met.
"Call me Aura, please," she replied with a small laugh. She sat down on the seat she was directed to and waved to the audience, who seemed to cheer louder.
"So, how's your life been recently?" Trisha asked as if she were talking to an old friend. That made Aura laugh some more.
"It's been pretty good, actually," she smiled. "I went to New York for a while when I finished filming Civil War, and then I went to live with some family in Ireland. But I'm back in Brooklyn now!" The audience began to clap.
"Have you got any new projects coming up? Where should we be watching?"
"Well, I can't say much at the moment," Aura said with a coy grin, "But I'm hiding from cameras for a while. No movies or TV shows planned."
"So, we shouldn't expect to see you in any upcoming Marvel movies?"
"Well, I never said that," she chuckled.
Somewhere in Boston, Chris was watching his television intently, while on the phone to Sebastian.
"She's so skinny," he mumbled. "She doesn't look healthy."
"I'm worried for her," Sebastian replied, sounding equally as concerned as Chris did. He tuned back in to the tv, where Aura was still answering questions from the host.
"Rumour had it that you left the filming for the latest Captain America movie early, due to clashes with the cast."
"Well, that's totally fake. I don't have beef with any of the Avengers cast. I speak to some of them on a regular basis, but because of how busy I've been... Yeah, I haven't spoken much with a few of them recently, I feel awful about it."
"Haven't spoken much recently, my ass," Sebastian snorted from other end of the call. "It's been two months since I saw her in person. What about you?"
"We meet up quite a lot, you know how it is. But in the last few weeks, she's been replying to my texts less and less and I haven't seen her face-to-face in a few weeks."
"I also heard that you and a certain blonde Captain were getting closer than normal? Is there any truth to that?"
"Maybe a little bit of truth. We flirted a little, yeah, but I flirt with everyone. It's just what I do."
Chris sighed at her obsession with secrecy.
"Why can't she just admit that we're dating?" He mumbled to himself.

This is disgusting Aurora, I expected better from you. You're a role model for young girls and teenagers everywhere and by losing weight to the point of being morbidly underweight you're teaching them that only supermodels can be famous. It's despicable.
