Andrew- After my friends stopped laughing at the ringtone I tried to explain that this wasn't my phone. That somehow my phone got switched with someone else's.
Alexis suggested I should call my phone and see who has it. I started to dial my phone number when the phone started to ring. I looked at the screen and it was my phone number.
I answered and put the phone to my ear.
"Hello?"
"Hi, you seem to have my phone." There was a girl on the other line, I could barely hear her over the crowds.
"And you seem to have mine, I'm Andrew."
"I'm Mona, so can we do a trade?"
"Sure, are you still at the fair?"
"Yeah I work at one of the booths."
"Cool, so where is -static and noise-?"
"Hello?"-static and noise- That's when the call got disconnected.
Mona- I looked at the phone and saw that the call dropped and almost threw the phone down in anger when I remembered it wasn't mine. Chelsea was at the booth, holding down the fort while I made the call.
"What happened?" Chelsea said as I walked back to the booth. When I told her that my phone was switched with someone else's she said I should call to see who has it.
"Call dropped." I said.
"Well that's what you get for having 'Metro Piece of-"
"It's not that bad. Anyway, I think I know who has my phone."
"Who is it?"
"Some guy named Andrew, he's still at the fair and said I could meet him to get back my phone."
"Does he go to our school? How old is he? Is he cute?"
"I only talked to him for about five seconds, how could I get that much information out of him?"
"Well you could if you just looked through his phone." Chelsea said all sugary sweet, trying to turn me to her evil ways.
"No. We are not invading somebody's privacy like that." Chelsea is legendary for getting into other people's business. She always has to know everything about everyone.
"Well how are you going to get your phone back if you don't know what he looks like?"
She had a point, and my mom would be pissed off when she finds out I lost my phone again." I know but it's no use any way I can only control his music, the rest of his phone is locked."
"Let me try," Chelsea snatched the phone out of my hand and worked her magic, or witchcraft, it depends on how you look at it, and unlocked the phone.
"How did you do that?" I leaned over her shoulder as she scrolled through the apps and going to his photos.
"I'll never share my secrets, now let's see what this Andrew person looks like."
Andrew- When the call got disconnected, I went back to the table and told my friends that a girl named Mona had my phone and that she works at one of the booths.
"Mona, Mona I should know that name." Alexis said, "I think I have her for English class, I could try and help you find her."
"Great while you and Andrew go on that thrilling adventure. Diego and I will go and have some fun." Chris said as they ran off in the other direction, toward the relay races and obstacle courses.
