Mona- This is awkward. I shouldn't be forced to do this, but here I am. Standing in the middle of a huge parking lot in a bright yellow sundress asking random strangers if they would like to try some organic perfume samples.

It's the annual street fair they have in my high school's parking lot. There are a lot of booths for local businesses and fundraisers for the school spread throughout the lot. Also, food trucks lined around the edges.

When my mom heard about it she jumped at the chance to reserve a spot for her business, Organic Works, where she sells natural perfume and hair care products that she makes herself.

She also had this bright idea to let me help with it. Of course I hated the idea of waking up early in the morning on a Saturday. Having to wear a ridiculously girly outfit, standing next to the booth and being a sampler girl is not my original idea of a good time. But she promised that if I do this she would give me enough money to buy the concert tickets that I've been saving up for.

These concert tickets are not just any concert tickets it's for the Psycho Sonics, this awesome band I discovered last year. They're coming to town for only one day and I have to get the tickets before their sold out. And if humiliating myself in front of my peers is the only way to get the money, then so be it.

At least I'm not the only one doing this, my best friend Chelsea, is right next to me sharing this torture. She wanted the money to pay for her next book store trip, even though she doesn't need any more when she has a whole library at her house.

We've been standing by the booth for a few hours in the middle of the crowds and the humid sun.

I turned to my mom behind the table that displayed her products. "Mom, can we take a lunch break?"

"Sure, can you get me something too?" She handed me some money from her purse.

I agreed and started to put my hair up in a ponytail and step out of my heels that my mom said "would look just darling on you". I reached behind the table and grabbed my backpack from where I packed my sneakers because, I knew they'd be a total pain to walk in. I also brought my big sweatshirt to go over my dress.

"It's like 100 degrees outside. Why the sweatshirt?" Chelsea asked.

"Because." I said throwing my backpack back behind the table. "There's no reason to further my humiliation to our fellow peers."

Chelsea didn't need to do a whole costume change because she totally worked the dress and heels that my mom handed both of us that morning. With her long legs, curly black hair, and clear skin she could rock a paper bag better than me. So after I was done we just headed toward the other booths.

As we walked around I put in my ear buds and stuffed my phone in my sweatshirt pocket.

That's when we found "the holy grail of sales", at least that's what Chelsea called it. It was a fundraiser for the local middle school and it was selling books and music. They were pricing 50 cents for paperbacks, a dollar for hardcovers and CDs for 2 dollars. It was heaven to Chelsea and me because you couldn't find these prices anywhere else. We started piling up all the books and CDs we could find that looked interesting at first glance. Chelsea squealed when she found something "she was dying to read" or one that she's "been trying to find forever". I even found some cool CDs I could add to my music collection and a psychology book that would help with my future in pre-law.

We finally left after we tore from the booth, reminding ourselves that we had to save some money for lunch and other stuff we might want to buy and walked away from the booth with a couple of bags. I didn't go overboard like Chelsea did. She was carrying two or three bags in each hand, I just had one because I have more restraint. We stopped at one of the food trucks to get something to eat and got my mom a drink and started to walk back to the Organic Works booth.

At this point the other booths got a little crowded. There was some pushing and shoving and then I was being pushed into someone and my stuff was scattered all over the floor.

Andrew-Well, this is awkward. I walk in the fair trying to have some fun like my mom urged me to when she heard about the street fair. "What a great way to meet new friends" she said. Ever since we moved here from Alabama she has been pushing me to make a whole new life right away. I have made a couple of friends at my new school, as a matter of fact they're the people I was going to meet with but I couldn't find them.

So I decided to look around and browse the booths to see what they had to offer while listening to my music instead of standing around looking lost. I even found a good booth that sells books and CDs for cheap.

I looked through the stacks and found a psychology book that seemed interesting and a few CDs. After buying what I wanted, I tried to walk toward the food trucks but the passage ways started to get crowded.

They started to shove inside the small space and almost instantly I was being pushed into someone and my stuff fell all over the floor and my phone fell out of my hand.

I tried to pick the stuff up as fast as I could. I picked up my phone and saw a bag with my psychology book in it so I picked it up and put my phone in the bag. I mumbled a quick apology to the person and got out of the middle of the crowd. I came to the food trucks and finally saw Chris, Diego, and Alexis waiting at one of the tables. They were already having lunch and trying to figure out where to go next.

They noticed me and said hi and went back to their conversation.

"I want to go to the kissing booth" said Diego.

Alexis rolled her eyes. "They don't have a kissing booth."

"That never stopped him before," I said as I sat down with them.

"Yeah besides I wanted to check out the Strength Challenge," Chris said.

"That is so male of you." Alexis said.

"Why is that, because I don't want to go make a necklace out of macaroni with you?"

"No because you take any chance to show off your muscles, we get it already you work out."

Chris is in debate and Alexis hates to be wrong, so these arguments could go on forever. But instead the argument was interrupted with a Pussycat Dolls ringtone and it was coming from me?

Diego and the others started laughing "Nice ringtone, dude." I checked my bag for my phone but it wasn't really my phone. It was the same model but it didn't have a crack in the corner of the screen that I made the week before and when I unlocked it, it didn't have the Alabama State screensaver. If this wasn't my phone then where could it be?

Mona- When my stuff fell everywhere and my phone fell out of my pocket. I tried to pick it up as quickly as possible so I wouldn't be trampled by the other people in the crowd. I saw my psychology book still in the bag so I picked it up and put my phone in the bag and got out of the hoard of people.

Later, I found Chelsea and we walked the rest of the way to Organic Works. My mom looked a little mad at us for taking too long, saying that she called me more than three times. I was sure that was wrong because I didn't hear my phone go off. I apologized anyway because I didn't want to get in an argument with her. She said that she was taking a break and for me to watch the table while she was gone. I said ok, glad that I didn't have to put on those heels again. As Chelsea stood there and looked pretty, I took out my phone out of my bag and untangled my earphones. I started to get mad when I saw the crack at the corner of the screen. At least it wasn't so bad. I put in my earphones and pressed play and what filled my ears was not my music. It was by someone I never heard before. When I looked at the screen all it said was the song's name but the artist was unknown I also noticed that on the screensaver was a yellow hornet and a logo of Alabama State. If this wasn't my phone, then who has it?
