Innocent

Third person P. O. V.

Naruto laid on a stretcher as an ambulance had picked him up. His right hand was cuffed and an officer sat by his side. She was to make sure he didn't escape on their way to the hospital. The blonde looked at the roof of the ambulance. Tears stung his azure blue eyes as the memories of his parents flooded his mind. It was all his fault, but in a way it wasn't. He didn't mean for it to happen, it was an accident.

"Sir, those were your parents right? " the woman asked. Naruto nodded his head as he closed his eyes to prevent the tears from slipping out. What was done,was done. He couldn't stay in the past forever. But the thought of what happened lingered, as if haunting him like a ghost.

"My name is Senju Tsunade." The woman said in an awkward tone. Was she scared of him? He couldn't blame her as he was a suspect to murder of the hokage. The worst part was that they found 12 guards dead as well. And of course he was the main suspect seeing as not only did he resist arrest, he ran, and was covered in blood.

"Nice to meet you, Tsunade. " Naruto whispered as he tried to put his attention else where. He wanted to wake up from this nightmare, but that would never happen. He was in hell, and eternal loop of what had happened played in his mind. Maybe this being a nightmare wouldn't be so bad.

"Once they patch you up my partners and I will be interrogating you." She stated. Naruto chuckled as he could sense how nervous she was. She thought he was a monster. And he was. He was responsible for his parents death, and not to forget the 12 guards they found dead as well. Hopefully they cleaned the blood, his parents hated stains.

"Listen, you seem like a nice person Tsunade, but I dont' want to talk to you right now." Naruto spat out as if saying it left a bad taste in his mouth. Tsunade flinched and looked away from the boy that lay before her. He reminded her of her brother. He was a nice boy, on the outside. And that's what got him killed, being a criminal.

"Ok" was all she could say in response. She took one last glance at him, and wondered if he did it. His eyes held a bit of innocence, but they were wild as hell. He seemed more cunning and dangerous then meets the eye.After sitting in silence for some time they arrived at the hospital. They pulled Naruto out of the ambulance and brought him into the ER as he had the bullet stuck in him still. After a hour of surgery they put him into another room to recover.

Tsunade stood with her partners by his bed, discussing what happened.

"Tsunade I know you think he is innocent, but we caught him red handed. Literally" the man with red marks on his face said. Her other partner nodded his head in agreement. There was blood on his hands, and his DNA was found on the murder weapon. And not to mention on all of the victims.

"I agree with Jiraiya, Tsuande. He ran when we said freeze, and he had the blood on his hands. " The partner said. Tsunade shook her head, she still didn't believe the boy was capable of such a heinous crime.

"No Orochimaru. I know he isn't guilty. Let's interrogate him when he wakes up and see if he did do it, or even has a connection to it." Tsunade snapped as she was getting very irritable. Orochimaru and Jiraiya sighed as they knew what Tsunade said was what would happen. All 3 turned to the blonde that was in the bed as they heard a small groan. Blue eyes scanned the room before finally,land in on three people in front of him.

"So I guess you are here to ask me questions about the murder of my parents?" He asked in a bored tone. The 3 nodded their heads as they got closer to Naruto. But of course they kept their distance as this was a dangerous criminal. Well, he was a suspect, but they all knew a guilty man when they saw one.

"I'm going to flat out ask you if you did it Naruto. So did you kill your parents? " Jiraiya asked. Tsunade punched his shoulder while cursing him for being blunt. Orochimaru roled his eyes at his partners and looked back at Naruto. The boy seemed guilty in his opinion. If he looked guilty, talked like he was guilty, and smelled guilty, he was guilty.

"I killed them. I murdered my father and mother in cold blood. 1st  degree is what they say I'm court. And I killed the guards" he said with a straight face. All 3 of them looked at the boy wide eyed. They expected him to deny it and say he was innocent. But he admitted it. When they saw this boy in public he was a sweetheart and nobody hated him. This couldn't possibly be the same boy the public adored.

" Naruto you understand you are saying you killed the hokage, his wife, and the guards that watched him? And the ways they were killed could earn you a death sentence" Orochimaru said as he suspected the boy may be covering for someone. But there was no one he could do this for. No relative they know of would ask the boy to do that.

" I am the reason they are dead. I killed them. It's my fault. Now if you'll excuse me I want some rest as I was in surgery for being shot" he said with irritation in his voice as he rolled onto his side. Tsunade shook her head as the boy was q at different then the one she saw on the ambulance. He was innocent, she was sure of that. Someone had to be threatening this kid. Jiraiya saw the look in Tsunade's face. A look he knew too well.

"Don't Tsunade. He is guilty, and there is nothing we can do. You stay here with Orochimaru and guard him while I go get the chief. " Jiraiya ordered as he walked out of the room. They 2 nodded as they looked at the blonde

"Somethings not adding up Tsunade, I believe you." Orochimaru said in a low voice. Tsunade smiled and thanked her partner for believing her. What they didn't know was that Naruto was awake, and listening to every word they said.
