Calum: You laid back on the table and tugged your shirt up. There wasn't much regarding a bump, but when the nurse spread the gel over your belly and adjusted the wand, there they were. "There's your baby," she explained, pointing out the shape. You bit your lip softly and tried to make things out. Calum pressed his lips to the side of your head, laughing out softly and keeping his cheek next to your temple. "There's the head," she explained. "Still very tiny, but from what I can see at this stage, they're perfectly healthy." You smiled widely and squeezed Calum's hand. "The ultrasound confirms that you are around 8 weeks. We'll have you come back when you reach the 18 week mark just to make sure that things are progressing nicely." You nodded your head and sat up, pulling your shirt back down once you were cleaned up. The nurse came back over with a picture of the ultrasound and handed it to you. "We'll see you in a couple weeks you guys."

Ashton: "Alright let's take a look here..." the technician spoke, rolling the wand over your abdomen. Ashton rubbed your shoulder gently, keeping his eyes glued to the monitor. The technician found the little grey blob and you smiled softly. "Do you want to hear the heartbeat?" he asked and you and Ashton nodded simultaneously. He did something and before you knew it, the sound of a heartbeat filled the room. It was music to your ears. "Well that's strange..." the technician murmured, grabbing the wand and pressing it back onto your stomach. "Is everything okay?" you asked, worry flooding you. "Everything is fine... just, well look," he chuckled and you and Ashton both looked at the screen. "There's two little shapes there... see?" he pointed it out and your eyes widened. "Twins?" Ashton asked in awe and the technician nodded his head. "They don't share a placenta, so they're fraternal twins, but yes, they are twins nonetheless," he explained. You looked up at Ashton, laughing out in shock. "We're having twins..."

Luke: You smiled widely as the nurse went over the different aspects of the shape on the screen. "You can see a little foot here... and the head is over here," she explained softly, listening to the heart monitor. "You can kind of make the heart out..." she drifted off, her eyebrows furrowing. "What?" Luke asked before you had the chance to and she looked over at you two. "Just give me a second..." she said calmly and left you two alone for a moment. You looked up at Luke who was already looking back at you. "Don't worry okay? I'm sure everything is okay," he explained softly and you nodded your head softly. The nurse came back with your doctor to have a closer look at the ultrasound. "Yeah that's definitely it..." he murmured and you propped yourself up. "Mrs. Hemmings, it's nothing to worry about, but your infant's spinal column is not forming properly. We call this spina bifida. Now, from what I am seeing right now, it is not a serious case. We call that Occulta. We can't really do anything until the baby actually comes, but when the time comes, I need you and your husband to be prepared. There will be nerve damage. And although your infant carries the most harmless, there is still a high chance that they will need assistance to walk. We an discuss certain surgeries when the time comes, but right now all we can do is make sure you, Mrs. Hemmings, stay calm and progress the pregnancy like we would with any," he explained and you just nodded your head. You looked up at Luke when the appointment was done and he helped you sit up. "Don't worry, okay? It's a mild form you heard what the doctor said." You nodded your head again and tugged your shirt down, hoping for the best possible outcome for the child you didn't even think could exist.

Michael: He was tearing up before the technician could even adjust the wand and gel. "Is that it?" he asked, holding onto your hand tightly. "Not quite," the technician said, moving the wand around. You took a deep breath and held his hand next to your chest. "There they are Mr. Clifford," she explained and sure enough the little grey spot on the screen was your baby. "The development is telling me you're about 11 weeks, so if we do the math on this one you'll be due in early January." You giggled softly and pursed your lips together, feeling so excited to be able to see them for the first time. Michael sniffled softly and smiled like an idiot, his eyes never once leaving the monitor. You looked over at him and chuckled softly biting your lip. "Awe Mikey..." you murmured and he glanced down at you for a moment, pressing his lips to your forehead. "I can print a photo off for you two if you would like?" she asked and Michael nodded his head quickly. "I would please. I want to document everything..." he drifted off. The technician wiped the excess gel from your stomach and with Michael's help, you sat up and pulled your shirt back down. She came back with the picture for you and Michael ran his finger over it. "We can't wait to meet you little one..."
