Today, I have work. I am a Spacer, just like most of the population on Arvnor. Once you have finished your training, you either work, or if you want, you don't. You can change your mind later on- this mostly happens to people after a few years or so. There are many jobs, but the main one is to be a Spacer- or as 'humans' call them, astronauts. Heh. What a dumb name. The others are minor, such as a factory worker- these people make the packaged food.
I am a Spacer- wait, I already said that, didn't I? Ah well. My station- a very large Dome- is only 20 lenotemis (10 kilometres) away from my Dome, so I can just zap there. I like my job because I enjoy discovering new planets and stars. I especially enjoy finding rare things in the universe. I've always been curious about this Earth legend. Even though I don't believe it, I've had this nagging feeling- what if Earth did exist? If there were creatures living there, what would happen then? Would we love together? What would happen to us?? SO MANY QUESTIONS!! This legend really baffled me. I continued to wonder about the legend as I worked. Luckily, I worked at the Dome, not in a ZipShip- yes, ZipShip. I didn't call it that- otherwise I would've crashed laraseni (hours) ago. As much as I try, I just can't get the legend out of my head.
I look at the unused ZipShip that is sitting in the spare vehicle dome...
