I heard the door of the house open and out comes Crowe holding his bo staff.
" Crowe," I say " I thought you were going to make me wait all day."
" Alastair, I wouldn't dream of making you wait. Sorry it took me so long. I just woke up from a nap." He patted me on the back and starts waking. I know he wasn't napping but at least it wasn't a complete lie. I mean he was in bed, he just wasn't sleeping.
We had been walking for a couple minutes when I say "Crowe, there's something I need to talk to you about."
" Sure thing Alastair. What's on your mind?"
"Well, it's about Salina......." I pause for a moment, before I open a door I can't close. "....And you."
" I'm not sure what you mean Alastair." His walking slows and I continue. Here's to not ruining my relationship. "I hope you didn't become a father tonight." This stops Crowe in his tracks. " What does that have to do with Salina?"
"Well, I see the way you two dance and look at each other. You're in a romantic relationship with her. Aren't you?"
" Alastair, what makes you say that?"
Crowe seems to be taking this pretty well. I hope this doesn't change that.
"Well,Crowe, you see. I was over at your house before you came out. I knocked on the door but you didn't answer. So I entered. I figured you were in you room, since the front fire was low. While I was walking back to your room I heard moaning. Your door wasn't closed all the way, so I peaked in. That's when I saw you and Salina" I was really dreading going on, but I had to. Crowe was looking at the ground so I couldn't tell if he was upset or not. I put my hand in his shoulder and continued " Look it was only for a minute and it looked like you two were glowing. Like really glowing."
Crowe looked up at me and I couldn't make out his emotions. "Alastair, I had the fire going. It was rather big. I'm sure that's what you saw. "
" It wasn't the fire. You two were actually glowing. And by the sounds you were making I'm pretty sure it's more than that. Based on everything I've seen between you, I would say that your chakras aligned. I'm right, right?" I was surprised that he wasn't pissed. He seemed rather calm. He was looking around to make sure no one else was around before letting out a sigh and saying " Alastair, I'm surprised it took you this long to figure it out. Yes, everything you said is true. And no we haven't told anybody that our chakras are aligned. My parents will be back in two days and we will tell them then."
I was feeling a rush of emotions. Excited, maybe, I wasn't sure. My sister and best friend were a perfect. I couldn't help but hug Crowe. He hugged back but it wasn't heartfelt. I started to walk again but Crowe grabbed my arm, looked me in the eyes and said in a low, rough voice " Alastair, you may not know, but I am rather pissed that you walked in on us and didn't say anything or leave immediately. Don't make that mistake again." He let go and we continued walking to the sparring site.
Once there I gave Crowe the start. He held his staff in front of him, then went for a side hit. I blocked his powerful hit and went for his knees. He evaded with a jump and went to kick me in the chest. Almost a hit, but I blocked sending him back a couple feet. He rolled and landed on his feet before attacking again. Next thing I know, he used his magic fingers to throw snowballs at me. I block each one. I reciprocate with a shadow kick that he blocks with his arm. Using his other arm he swings his staff towards my head. I dodge and swing around behind him, hitting him in the back with my elbow. He stumbles forward, quickly catching his footing before he turns around. He uses his full body, going for a gut shot, and slams the end of his staff into me. It was a pretty hard hit, sending back a couple feet and into the ground.
Crowe approaches me and helps me up. I note the sun is almost gone and say "It was a good match. I can tell now that you were a little bit pissed. Well the sun is almost gone so I'll see you later."
"Alright. Later. Maybe when my parents return." We part ways and the walk home only takes thirty minutes.

I walk in through the door and Salina says "Dinner is in the kitchen. I already ate." I walk in and there is a half chicken breast left along with a baked potato. Once I'm done eating l head back into the living room. I sit in the chair across from where Salina is sharpening her knife and say "Salina. There is something I need to tell you." She looks up at me and says " Please tell me you are not a father. I couldn't handle myself if you were a father."
"No, I'm not a father. Are you a mother?"
"What gives you that idea Alastair?" She sounded like Crowe. I hope she reacts the same way. Here goes nothing. "I know about you and Crowe." She sets her knife down in her lap and says in a somewhat serious voice " What about us?"
"The fact that I saw you two riding the ecstasy wave and saw your chakras align."
"You did what?! Alastair I want a explanation now!" She was angry. This wasn't going to end well. " I went looking for Crowe earlier and when I was at his house I saw what you were doing in his room. Don't try and tell me otherwise. I've looked back on your relationship and have come to the conclusion that you are a perfect."
"Alastair, how could you!? It's true us being a perfect but it has to be confirmed. But how could you watch us like that? Did you enjoy it?"
"I didn't mean to watch you. I was looking for Crowe. I saw he was busy, so I left. I went outside. I couldn't stand to be in their where I had the slightest chance of hearing you. I don't want to see you naked or hear either of you make that noise again."
Salina got out of her chair and walked over to me. She had a stern look on her face, slapped me so hard it stung, and said "Alastair Krauss, I hope you learn from your errors and become a better person. You don't have to worry about me becoming a mother because we take precautions. Besides I'm old enough to be a mother. Crowe's parents will be home in two days and we are talking to them then. I'm going up to my room and I'll see you in the morning. Good night." I was surprised by her stern talking. It's only ever happened once before, when I almost got killed. We're only twenty years old. Old enough to have children, but that doesn't mean she should have them. As soon as our parents were home the better this would be. I could only imagine their reaction. The fire was getting low so I added another log then headed upstairs for bed.
