Getting Ready for the Night of My Life

Start from the beginning

                “Exactly,” Ali replied.

I drank some of my orange juice then. On the other side of this mansion was my mate. So close. Yet so far. I will have my mate in my arms. This is everything I have ever waited for. I would be safe under my mate’s protection as well as my added strength but most of all, I would be loved.

“So what are all of your dresses like?” I asked taking another bite out of my toast.

“Well, mine is a beautiful pink colour but I am not giving the details you will have to wait and see,” Ali teased.

“Well, if you are going to be like that my dress colour is sky blue but you will have to wait and see,” Sophie teased.

“You guys. Any way mine is silver,” I replied.

“Just like your wolf,” Ali smiled.

                “Exactly,” I smiled.

“We are all going to look so amazing,” Sophie spoke.

We all finished off the last of our breakfast before realising we had been sat talking with each other for an hour. It was now 12:00 and we had six and a half hours to waste before we had to be back down here ready for the ball at half six for the ball to start at seven.

We all got up realising we were the last ones here and we hooked our arms through each other’s and walked up the stairs back towards our rooms. My door was the first one that we reached so I gave each of them a hug before I walked into my room. I closed the door quietly behind me.

I needed to pack everything back into my suitcase ready for tomorrow when I leave with my mate to my new home. I went into my closet grabbing all of the clothes I would no longer where before folding them and placing them into my suitcase. I went through everything making sure I had put every single thing away so I wouldn’t leave it.

The only things I had left out were my ball gown, my shoes, my curlers and hair dryer, my make-up, my brushes, shower gel and my locket from my parents that I had for Christmas. Everything else was now safely put away in my suitcase. I would only zip it up once I had changed for the ball.

I now had four and a half hours left to go until the Ball. The time was dragging so much. One minute felt like 10 minutes to me. Time was taking ages and it was all because I was waiting to find out who my mate was. This seriously wasn’t fair. Why wasn’t it the time already?

I decided to do the next best thing and have a long bubble bath. I went into the bathroom and began to run a steaming hot bath. I placed a load of bubble bath into the bath tub. A bath without bubbles is useless. While the bath tub was filling I found myself a fluffy towel and stripped down before going into the back of the closet in a draw at the back bringing out a bottle of white wine and a wine glass. I opened the bottle and poured some wine into the glass. I placed them both on this stand next to the bath.

I am from England and we can drink at eighteen. Once the bath was full and ready I climbed in a laid down in the bath. I felt the warm water soak me. It felt so soothing and relaxing which is exactly what I needed. I closed my eyes slightly feeling the bubbles against my skin.

I opened my eyes before taking my wine glass and taking a drink. Don’t worry. If you’re worried about me making myself drunk, werewolves have a higher tolerance but I usually get bored of the taste after the second glass.
