All the parties in this town are conducted only by those brainless jocks and I can’t tarnish my high reputation by going there. It is just a big no no. Now the other part of the story is that I hardly ever get invited. The only person who invites me is Xavier because he wants to insult me.

Teenage boys these days!

"You are coming."

"I am not." She should know that I don't attend parties.

"I was not asking." There was a promise in her voice.

"I was also not asking."

"I promise you Nev that if you don't turn up for the party, I will send Georgy to collect you."

"Send whoever you want but I am not coming. And what will he do to me?"

I mean come on, what can he do? Drag me?

"You be at my house by ten or" there was a pause in between, "oh, you will be there by ten thirty anyway."

Ah! Confidence! I like it. It’s just sad that it wouldn’t work with me.

"Oh, we will see Melissa."

 And here I was standing wearing a blood red short dress and black stilettos with my hair down and styled.

And yes, I was dragged.

I was peacefully studying for the physics test when I hear a doorbell. I thought that maybe Ma had finally come to a decision about the cake to relieve me and Brian. But no, standing in front of me was Georgy.

He was looking hot! Just because I don't put in that much effort into my appearance doesn't mean that beauty can’t be appreciated with other people.

He was wearing tight blue jeans and a grey t-shirt. His hair was styled and his muscles could be clearly seen. He also had a tattoo above his elbow. I was seeing it for the first time.

"You got a tattoo?"

"I always had it there, you were the first girl to not notice." I just shrugged.

"So what brings you here?"

"I believe that you and I are going somewhere."

"Really? Because I don't." Two can play at this my friend.

"Come on babe, we need to leave."

"Last time I checked I am not going anywhere. So I suggest that you take a U turn and leave the way you came." He smirked in reply. Stupid!

He came inside and plopped himself on the sofa. "I am not leaving until you come with me."

"Fine. Sit there on that couch the whole time until Brian returns and kicks you out."

"Oh, no one is kicking me out tonight. You and me will be leaving this place together." With that he walked off somewhere inside the house. My mood to study was completely ruined so I settled for watching TV.

I was watching some silly, meaningless opera show when Georgy came out with two dresses. One was a short red one while the other one was a white backless one. Both the dresses had tags on them.
