Paris Here I Come

'Natsu!' The overjoyed Blonde exclaimed as she waved her arms in the air, creating a cool draught as she wafted the crumpled piece of paper that was clasped in her hand firmly, 'I found our next quest' she thrusted the paper towards him, as he studied it his smile soon slid in to a thin, hard line. 'You want me to go on a quest to find a pink jelly bean, where's the fun in that?' He raised an eyebrow as he examined the diagram on the request, Lucy puffed her cheeks out in annoyance as she crossed her arms underneath her big bust. 'Natsu,' she stated more sternly this time 'It's not fun for me to almost die every time we go on a quest. Besides it's not a pink jelly bean it's the Moth Kwami and the request means that we get to go to Pari—' She was cut off by the sound of him fake snoring. Once he realised that she had stopped talking, his eyes snapped opened and his eyebrows knitted together as he scowled down at the request, it was already apparent that this was going to create quite a rift between the couple. 'You know I almost die every quest as well, right? Usually it's because I'm trying to save you.' Lucy's glare softened once he had finished his sentence, she shuffled back and forth in her spot gawkily. 'Do you think I'm weak?' her voice cracked towards the end of her question, Natsu's eyes widened at the question and he scratched the back of his head awkwardly 'I don't think you're weak Luce. I just don't think you're the strongest person I've met.' He finally answered after a long pause, by this time the entire guild had stopped what they were doing and tuned in on their little debate 'Boy is he going to regret saying that.' Alzack stated bluntly to Bisca, who simply nodded in agreement but appeared to be more focused on styling Asucka's hair in to two braids. 'I guess I'll go on this one by myself then. I'm sure Erza and Gray will be delighted to go on that super dangerous quest that I'm probably too weak for.' She tried her hardest to choke back her tears and plaster on a brave face, knowing full well that Natsu was too dense to understand that he had hurt her feelings. She took the piece of paper back from his hands and flashed one of her signature fake smiles 'That's not what I meant Luce...' He started to say but she had already turned around and started to make her way towards the guild door. 'Ah well,' she said to herself, trying to mentally prepare herself for what was in store for her 'Paris here I come.'

'I can't believe you let her go alone. To the City of Love, of all places.' Lissanna paced back and forth in front of Natsu, who watched silently with his mouth slightly agape. 'I thought she was going to Paris?' Lissanna slapped her hand against her forehead, mentally kicking herself for being best friends with a dense idiot. 'Natsu, do you realise that Paris is called the City of Love?' Lissanna asked as she rested her shoulder against the oak pillar that stood grandly in the middle of the guild, her arms crossed across her chest and a disapproving look plastered all over her face. Gray snorted back his laughter 'What are you laughing at Elsa?' Natsu squinted at him accusingly, but loosened up a little when Gray clasped a warming hand on to his shoulder 'Paris is the City of Lights, only lonely, desperate chicks believe in the City of Love crap.' He smirked knowingly but it soon vanished when an eerie, monstrous voice roared from behind him 'Are you calling me lonely and desperate, Gray?' when he didn't answer and instead chose to cower away, Erza made a critical noise in the back of her throat 'Natsu, how come you didn't go on the mission with Lucy?' Natsu groaned in annoyance as he turned to face Erza, he knew that no matter what he told her she would call him an idiot and hit him around the head with her armoured hand. 'She wanted me to go on this quest to find the moth Jelly bean or whatever the hell that thing was... but it's not the type of quest I like, so I let her go alone.' She move closer towards him, making him flinch as she did but he soon relaxed when she sat down next to him instead 'I see,' she said with an unreadable facial expression 'but you have to understand that all those quest that you pick for us and end up getting us in danger are not the type of ones she likes.' Natsu crossed his legs on the bench and looked down at the glass and plate that had been placed in front of him not so long ago, but he hadn't found the time to eat and drink its contents yet. 'Well, she doesn't have to go on them with me...' Natsu said trying to convince himself rather than anybody else. He picked away at the rotting wooded table awkwardly, causing splinters of wood to fall in to his lap. 'No I suppose you're right, but she does anyway because she knows you like them.' A soft smile had been carved on to Erza's stone like face.

I hate it when she's right.

Author's Note- So I know the first update is a little short and I'm not that good at writing. But my friend and I had the idea for this crossover after seeing a fan art of Lucy and Natsu as Ladybug and Chat Noir, so naturally we fangirled for about an hour and came up with a story line on what would like to happen if they had a crossover. Let me know what you think about it :D
