MATILDA STEAL
I can't believe I'm going to the dance with Cedric. Do I like him? I don't know! My dress arrived just this morning thanks to our family owl, clarrise. The dance is less then six hours away and I'm already freaking out anything could happen! What am I saying! I need to stop worrying.
CEDRIC DIGGERY (TIME LAPSE THE PARTY)
I wait outside the Ravenclaw common room and check I look at the very least ok. My heart stops punding for a split second when I see Matilda she looks so beautiful. Her auburn coloured hair is up in a side bun with a few curled strands hanging down. Her dress is strapless, falls just above the knee and is navy blue with a silver rose at the left side of her waist. It's got Ravenclaw Pride all over it but it makes Matilda look stunning.
"Ready"
She asks me with a smile
I nod. I give her my arm to link she takes it giggling. We walk into the room of requirement it's decorated with house pride lanterns and barrels of butter beer, pumpkin juice and fire whiskey. I play it safe and get us both large Butter beers.
" So are you entering the tournament Cedric"
She asks me her blue eyes lighting up
"Yes"
I reply.
Her smile fades and so does mine.
"What's wrong with that?"
I ask her
"You could die!"
She shouts
"Don't worry about me"
I go in for a kiss... But she moves away
I listen to the words of the song in the background
We were both young when I first saw you
I close my eyes and the flashback starts:
I'm standing there on a balcony in summer air.
See the lights, see the party, the ball gowns.
See you make your way through the crowd
And say "hello"
Little did I know...
"May I have this dance"
I say sheepishly
"Yes, you can call me Tilly if you like"
Tilly says
I Take her waist she tenses but lightens up. She's a bit clumsy but she's not as bad as Olli is with my friend Rosie Hedgerow. Tilly puts her head on my chest. I can't believe it I think she finally likes me. After a lot more dancing I take her out side
"So I guess the big question is"
She opens her mouth to speak as if she knows what's coming.
"Will you be my girlfriend"
I ask
She blushes looks down and looks at me. Then I lean in for a kiss. And this time we actually do kiss. For about five minates my life is perfect.
"I guess that's the best answer"
She says. She suddenly starts struggling to breathe and then starts gasping for air. And her eyes look as if there going to close. Again she gasps for air.
"Tilly what's wrong?"
I say paniking. Within seconds she falls into my arms.
