Scott didn't notice he zoned out, and was a bit surprised to see her standing next to him.
"Is the wall really that interesting?" Jane said jokingly, "I wish I was that wall, then you'd listen to me and help me with my homework."
All Scott did was raise an eyebrow and smiled. "Please tell me again, why are we even friends?"
"We are friends because I am amazing, and i'm always here for you." Jane smiled at the him.
It was true, she has always been there for him, and he has always been there for her. Even more than when Nina was there for her, which says a lot since Nina and Jane have known each other longer.
Although, maybe sometimes time isn't what matters, it's the bond that two people develop over a certain amount of time they've known each other.
