Hayden's POV:
There are eight people in my family. My mom, my dad, who everyone calls Conrad, and me and my five siblings. I guess it's a handful being the oldest sibling while my parents aren't home. You see, my mom is an actress- always in movies. And, Conrad is a police officer. He's a pretty good one if I don't say so myself.
My parents chose awful names for their children. I mean, they aren't bad names, just names that teenage girls would joke about naming their children. Which I guess makes sense considering my mom's age when she gave birth to her first child, also known as me. At age sixteen, she had me, Shane Hayden, which I guess really isn't a bad name by itself but its my siblings' names that make it humorous.
Still a teenager my mom had her next two children, two being twins. Maybe she was drunk or high at the time of naming but she chose to name them Braden Chase and Braelynn Elise. She even called me Hayden at the time! (Which I still go by now.)
To add to it, two years after Braden and Braelynn were born, my mom had another set of twins- Caden Finn and Cadence Oakley. At that point I was four and feeling very neglected by my parents. I still loved them and they loved me but I wasn't getting the attention I needed as a four year old, you know?
But anyways, my last sibling, younger than me by ten years, and my little princess is Evelynn Hadley. Everyone calls her Evey though.
My mom and Conrad look fairly different. Mom is tanned with long bleach blonde hair. I guess that would be weird if she were older but she is only thirty-three so I let it pass. She also has sea green eyes. Conrad on the other hand has jet black hair and icy blue eyes. Not to mention the fact that he's a whole foot taller than my mom at five foot eleven inches.
Evey most definitely gets her looks from mom the exception of dad's blue eyes. She's very short, she has the same color hair as mom but falling to her mid thigh and her skin is a little darker. Evey is my favorite sibling though I love them all. She always wants to be around me and I just enjoy how open-minded she is. She's fairly shy in public so she doesn't have any friends besides me- if I even count.
Caden and Cadence are the troublesome two. They both have jet black hair, like Conrad, and mom's sea green eyes. At school they're very smart. Both are very clever but what I've heard Cadence complain about is Caden's need for control. They run this thing where they vandalize and steal. Nothing very earth shattering but it still matters. Caden is know for the breaking and Cadence is know for entering- therefore, not really breaking the law of breaking and entrance. Whenever I explain them to people, I suffer from trying not to laugh at the irony of them being nearly wanted criminals and Conrad being a police officer.
Braden and Braelynn are the popular ones of the family. I mean, I guess we all are but they embrace it the most. I guess they have the looks for it- their bleach blonde hair and sea green eyes making them easy to look at. Braden is the Westly High top quarterback and Braelynn is the head cheerleader. They're kind of in the popular circle and they get in a lot of trouble relationship wise. I'm surprised Braelynn isn't pregnant yet seeing how many time her and her boyfriend make "interesting" sounds in Braelynns bedroom...
I am the oldest child in the Scott family not to mention the tallest. I'm kind of the odd one out with my dark brown hair. I have mom's eyes though. Gossip magazines claim that Conrad isn't my dad but my birth certificate begs to differ.
If you said we're an odd family I would correct you saying we are a dramatic family. The paparazzi enjoy it though.
<<Hey! Tell me what you like, dislike. Sorry it's short. This chapter is actually the only one that will be this kind of format (you'll get what I'm saying later) I'm a bit of a scatterbrain so please be patient with me. I hope you enjoy this story. And please... Don't steal stuff from me. Mmkay enjoy :)>>
