I took a deep breath as I watched the controlling Leo fill out the information. Sitting in this hospital waiting room wasn't exactly my idea of a good morning. Especially since every woman was eyeing him down.

Even the nurse at the front desk had the nerves to flirt when I was sitting right behind him. To make things better he flirted right back with her. Without any hesitation.

I sunk into my world of doodles. That's what I mainly did all day. Doodle and clean.

That's all he wanted me to do. While he went out and did whatever the hell he wanted to do.

I just drew a little something in my small notepad. I couldn't leave the house without it.

I was so consumed that I didn't hear anyone calling my name.

I felt a lightslap on my stomach. It wasn't welcoming or loving.

When I looked up Leo was scolding me. Like a little child who had done something wrong. It was one of his infamous ways of belittling me.

"The nurse is ready for you.",he said monotonously. But I could hear the anger and slight embarrassment behind it.

I looked behind him to see a nurse that chewed obnoxiously on her gum. She was staring Leo down though.

Like every other woman in this damn hospital.

But I humbled myself.

"Sorry. I wasn't paying attention.",I said as I quickly pushed my pencil, and notepad into my purse. That's all it contained anyways.

Leo wouldn't let me carry money around.

I stood and quickly walked behind the nurse who grabbed a slight hold of my back and pushed me in front of her.

"Room 16. To the left.",she said. She sounded annoyed but I walked in front of her.

I turned left and got to the room. I looked behind me to see if they were behind me but they weren't.

I stood there for at least five minutes before sighing and entering the room. I knew exactly what they were doing.

It was my job to play dumb.

I sat in the hospital room and doodled and drew descriptive pictures that detailed my emotions.

Twenty five minutes later the nurse walked in with a slight limp. My stomach dropped when I noticed her trying to fix her pants.

I looked at Leo closely as he walked in. He still had a small erection and his once tucked shirt was now untucked and messy. Like his hair.

Messy.

And they smelled of too much febreeze or perfume.

I tucked in my lips and forced the tears away. As much as I loved him he didn't see it. He didn't love me.
