---Chapter 7---
Gabby's P.O.V
On my way home, I get a call from an unknown number.
"Hello?"
"Uh, yes, is this Gabby?" Some lady asks.
"Yes..." I say, a little confused.
"Your friend, I believe her name is Julie, was in a car accident." She says.
I almost drop my phone.
"Please, come over to the hospital." She says.
I grab my car keys and head to the hospital.
"Hello I'm here to see Julie" I say
"Ah, yes, she's in the ICU, room 311" she says.
When I get to her room, I see Julie. She has so many tubes hooked up to her. Her head is is all bruised and she has cuts on her legs.
"Oh, hello there, are you family?" The nurse in her room asks.
"She's a good friend of mine." I say, "how is she doing?"
"Pretty good for her circumstances. Her chances are fifty-fifty." She says.
I leave the room to take a breather and call Keaton.
Keaton's P.O.V
"I'll catch up, guys." I say as I notice Gabby's calling.
"Hey, Gabs, what's up?" I ask.
"Uhm, Julie's in the hospital." She says.
"What? Are you serious?" I ask.
"Yeah, after she tweeted you, she hit into the back of a car. She's in the Intensive Care Unit, right now." She says.
"I'm coming back." I say.
"No, no, you're not." She says.
"What are her chances?" I ask, quietly.
"Fifty-fifty" she says.
I didn't know what to say.
"Look, you gotta stay down there to focus on your career, Keaton." Gabby says, "please, Keaton."
"I will. Just keep me updated." I say. I really wanted to go back to Detroit to see her.
"I will, bye." She says hanging up.
I hang up and almost start to cry.
"Dude, what's wrong?" Wes says coming over.
"Julie's in the hospital....she got into a car accident." I say.
"Are you going back?" He asks.
"No," I say shaking my head, "Gabby wants me to stay and focus on our career."
"Whatever you think is best, bro." Wes says.
I didn't know what to do. I wanted to go back but I also wanted to stay in Brazil.
I texted my friend, Sabrina, to get her opinion on it. She's one of my best friends, almost like a sister to me.
Gabby's P.O.V
After I hang up with Keaton, I head down to the cafeteria to get some lunch.
When I get back to her room, she wasn't there.
"Uhm, where is Julie?" I ask the lady in at the front desk.
"Her heart rate started to drop. She almost went into a coma." She says.
No. This can't be happening.
"But she's not in one, right?" I ask.
"Correct, come back in a few days to check on her." She says.
"Okay..." I say as I walk at of the hospital, crying.
I take my phone out and text Keaton.
"Julie almost went into a coma. I can't visit for a few days."
Within a minute he texts me back.
"Oh my...alright, text me when you got back."
For the rest of the day I just sit at home, praying that she'll be okay.
