Hello my little nuggets!! So it's been a while since I've been on here, and I don't completely remember where I left of besides the fact that I said I was gonna split ch 15. As I reread that chapter, I found it to be unnecessary. So I will just be continuing by adding Maria in right before the ball. Enjoy!
----------------------------------------------

Headmaster had called Yuki, Zero, and I into his office first thing in the morning. Although it was evident that Zero clearly didn't want to see his "father" first thing in the morning, it was better than going to day classes. As for Yuki, well she was just Yuki, cheerful for the most part.

We were all outside the door before heading into headmaster's office together. Zero grabbed the door and opened it.

"CALL ME FATHER!!" Headmaster beamed and gushed. Zero quickly slammed the door.

"I'm not going in there," Zero huffed.

"Well mister cranky pants, you needa suck it up and go in," I poked the crease between his eyebrows before he could swat my hand away. He grumbled even more. Fufufu.

"I'll go in first," Yuki offered before making her way inside.

"Ahh Yuki!! Call me father!!" Headmaster beamed. He was so cheerful in the morning.

"Ahem..father...good morning," Yuki kinda coughed out.

"Yeeeessss!" Headmaster pranced around the room in happiness.

"I am disgusted," Zero grimaced as he watched the headmaster pranced around the room.

"So..why did you call us here for?" I tried to break him away from his prancing..

"Ahhh yes. Well we have a new student!!" Headmaster sat back in his chair before revealing the details.

"Maria, dear, can you please come in?" Headmaster called out. In that exact moment, a girl with pure white hair walked in. She was wearing the moon dorm uniform, signifying that is a vampire.

"Hello, my name is Maria Kurenai. How do you do?" Maria bowed before us. Obviously because she was a vampire, and it didn't sit too well with Zero as he stormed out of the room in a huff, leaving Yuki and I to greet her.

"Don't worry about Zero, he's always like that!" Yuki tried to assure Maria that nothing was to worry about.

"I see," was all Maria said. Maybe she was displeased with him.

Maria, Maria, Maria. She looks very familiar to someone, but who? It feels live I've known or seen her before, but where?

Where oh where?

"Nice to meet you," Maria stuck her hand out to me. I blinked breaking away from my thoughts.

"Oh, yes. I'm Akahina. Welcome to Cross Academy!" I flashed a smile before shaking her hand. Maria smiled in return.

"I know we're going to be great friends!" Maria smiled widely like a Cheshire Cat. How mischievous of her.

Hmm..

Something is off about her.

"Akahina! Come with us! We'lol show Maria around campus before dropping her off at the moon dorms to settle in for the day.

"Ahh yes. Coming!" I replied as Yuki broke my chain of thoughts.

TIME SKIP

"The campus is quite grand! Thank you for escorting me! I think this is the start of a new friendship!" Maria twirled around before entering the moon dorms.

"How lively that girl is," I couldn't help but comment as I watched her disappear into the moon dorms.

"She's so nice. Maybe Zero would have liked her if he didn't storm out so abruptly," Yuki added on.

"Leave him be. He has his reasons. Now Yuki, shall we start patrolling?" I left that conversation as it was.

"Ah yes! But first I want to check on Zero!" She made up her mind before dashing away before I could no longer see her.

I was left by myself. I could feel the wind tonight. I couldn't help but chuckle.

"She's alone now! Go talk to her my minion!" A childish voice tried to whisper in the bushes.

"Again with this?" A deeper more masculine voice replied in a sigh.

"Shhhh!! She might hear you," the childish boy tried to hush his cousin.

"I really don't think that matters if you wanted me to go talk to her," the masculine voice boorishly replied before scratching his head.

"Just go!!!" The childish boy threw a tantrum.

"Tch" I assumed the older lad got annoyed and kicked the younger one out of the bushes.

Out rolled out an Aido.

I smiled widely as he landed right in front of me.

"Yah!! Why did you do that?!" Aido yelled back, not noticing I was in front of him.

Fufufu. What shall I do? 😈

"My my is little Aido lost?" I cooed deviously.

"Ah ha ha ha" Aido nervously turned his head towards me.

Awe how cute. He looks like a startled kitten.

"Ahh I h-have to go!" Aido stammered before running away.

Fufufu. I chuckled before walking away to my dorm.
