Dipper and mabel pines were sent to earth to research the humans but to the crystal gems intersepted the young gems in the space craft to earth when they landed rose wanted to spare the gems to live with them so they can get them to help with the resistance they were making so they could overturn homeworld and make it better for all gems they hope that the gem will wake up soon so they could get them aqanted with every one.
