                         beginning

"Emberly wake up were leaving soon." My mom yelled from down the stairs

"Yeah alright." I yawned crawling out of bed getting ready to take a shower

Today's the day my mom has picked to move to Texas

Yay!

Sarcasm.

Complete and utter sarcasm.

I mean I get why she's doing it I mean we have some bad memories here, but she just expects us to pack up our lives and leave?

I guess I might have a better life in whatever part of Texas to which we were leaving to, but Texas?
Really?

I mean that was the last place I expected my mom to choose I honestly thought we'd be moving to Peru before we ever ended up in texas.

"Emberly hurry up!" My brother Aiden whined

"I'm coming!" I yelled throwing my now wet blonde hair into a loose braid

"Thanks." I smiled snatching the crispy bagel out of aidens hands

"Hey! That was mine!" Aiden whined like a 8 year old

He's eighteen yet here he is dropping the one and acting like he's eight

It's summer I shouldn't be doing math

"Well now it's mine!" I stuck my tongue out like the mature seventeen year old I am

"Ok you two stop arguing and get in the car." My mother sighed motioning for us to leave

"Fine." I muttered

"Shotgun!" I fist pumped

"No fare!" Aiden stomped

"Sometimes I wonder how you guys past kindergarten." My mom chuckled taking her seat in the driver's chair

The rest of our 10 hour car ride was spent with Aiden having to pee every two hours, me dancing like a lunatic in the front, and my mom mumbling to herself how she wished we were more mature

But I mean it's whatever.

"We're here!" Aiden yelled frantically swinging open the car door

"Thank the Lord were he-" that idiot tripped over the car door

how does one trip over a car door?

"You do the impossible aiden." I muttered grabbing my backpack from the front seat, and stepping over his body which was laying flat on the grass

"Oh hi you must be the new neighbors!"

"Oh my gosh!" I shrieked falling to the ground looking up at the middle aged women in front of me
