6: some plans cancelled,others,not so much.

We got to the Smith's in less than two minutes and I'm wondering why we even drove over there.

"I'm sorry pumpkin."
My dad said turning off the engine.

"Sorry about what dad?"

"Your date.
I know you've never been on one and your first one comes up and we have to be somewhere.

So does everybody know I've never been on a date before.
Gosh am I that transparent.

"Its nothing dad. He agreed to have it tomorrow.
I'm sure there's no where to go tomorrow.?"

"Well."
He says stretching it.

"Oh come on dad."

"I'm only joking,I'm off to work early in the morning tomorrow so you could go anyways"

By now we were stood on the porch of the smiths.

"Oh I could smell mash potatoes.
One of my favourite dishes."
Dad says ringing the door bell."

"I'll get it."
I hear Jake saying from inside.

"Oh hey Mr. Thompson ,Emma."
He says and letting us in.

"How many times have I told you to call me Andy,we're like family now you know."

"Sorry"
He says with a chuckle.

"Okay so Emma if you'll let me have that and we can go upstairs."
Jake said,stretching his arms to collect the ice cream cake we made.

"ERM,
No thanks.
I can handle it myself.
I know this house as much as you do and though its been a while since I actually came here I can find my way."

"Emma!
Don't be rude." Dad said through gritted teeth.

I walked to the kitchen and placed the cake in the fridge for a bit.
It was dads idea to make it a chocolate;ice cream cake.
His two favourite deserts.

Can I help?
I say looking down at the empty salad bowl and all the un chopped vegies.

"That would be awesome.
I don't know, Gabby was here a minute ago then she just left."

"Its nothing I can sort it out.

Dinner was almost done when Gabby came to the kitchen on her toes.

"Eeeep
Mum I got it,I got it!.

"Got what Gabby?"

"The chance to have my welcome back fashion show in school."

"That's awesome,Gabby."

"I know right.
Wait is that.
Omg Emma,
I didn't even recognise you."

We hugged and was pulled apart when Angie said it was dinner time.

We were sat at our usual spots.
And of all places I was sat by Jake.

The family was talking as usual till it was desert.
They couldn't get enough.

"This is heaven,
Gabby says with her mouth full."

"You bet it is."

"Now please tell me who made it?
Bob added."

"A chef from Paris or someone at this table."

"All hail chef Emma.
Jake said which made me blush."

"Emma you made this,I thought your dad did."
Wow this so AMAZING.

"Thanks a lot"

"So would you mind making cute cupcakes for my fashion show?"
Pleaaaaase.
She pleaded.

"I'll be more than happy to.
And the girls can be your models.
If that's you haven't got any.

"No,
That would be perfect."

"I can't wait till Monday."

"Its Monday?"

"What time?
My dad asked."

"In the morning at school."

"Emma can't make these by Monday!
She's got a date with someone."

I almost chocked on my own saliva if that's possible.
"Dad!"

"You got a date?
Jake asked surprised.

"Yes I do and its not a big deal so stop taking Bout it."

"Yes it is,
Its your first date.
He says holding my shoulders and shaking me."

"Shut up Jake.
Why would you say that."
I say getting up.

"Emma wait.
Gabby came chasing me.

"Would you mind going on your date with one of my dresses that won last years show."

"More than happy to.
But you don't mind me going?"

"Not at all.
You had plans before I asked you but your friends are still keeping their place.
She says with a chuckle.

"Thank you."

"Its nothing, no come on let's get you in that dress."

We were in Gabby's room and I was half naked.
In my bra and underwear trying to make few corrections to the dress.
Gabby was a girl too.
And I don't mind the state I was.

*knock knock.*
"Come in!

"Wait I'm in here."

By now Jake had entered and was about to leave when Gabby stopped him.
"What the hell its not like you guys having seen each other naked before."

"Yea,when we were little and in a inflatable pool."

I say covering myself with in Gabby's comforter.

"Now please leave Jake."

I can't believe Jake saw me naked. Even my dad hasn't seen me naked since I was six.
In a weird way,my crush saw me and I was happy.

I got dressed and Jake was allowed to come back in.

I took the clothes and was about to get out when I was stopped.

"Rossy I came here because of you to say sorry for anything I did from yesterday till today."

"For what I'm not offended by anything.
Now can I leave now."
I have a date to prepare for now'
I say rubbing it in his face.

"Well am I at least forgiven?"

"Yea sure. I couldn't stay mad at you even if I wanted to
Now my purse."

"What purse."

"The one you are holding and was suppose to give to me this morning."

"Oh yea.
He says handing it back.
"Truce?"

"Truce."

We hugged on for a few seconds but it felt like an hour to me.

"Aww you guys look so cute together."

"Gabby!"I say blushing.

"Maybe we are."
He says staring and smiling at me

I bet this is the shortest chapter in my book but I'm tired and my thumbs are begging you guys to forgive them.
But the story gets better.
You would only know that if you keep this book in your library.
What's up with Jake always talking about him and Emma dating or sleeping together. It seems wierd,what would you have done if your crush told you that??.
I would set a goal but I hate to wait.
I love writing and I can't wait for twenty votes and fifty reads.
So I wouldn't stop updating just keep the votes coming and I'll be more than happy to update even when I'm tierd.
