Plans For The Weekend

I stare at myself in the mirror as I contemplate what I'm going to do this week. It's the last week of summer before I start my senior year, it's crazy how fast time goes by. It seems like just yesterday I was sitting in my freshman home room class crushing over my now best friend, Max Reynolds. Max and I have been really close ever since we went out on a couple of extremely awkward dates freshman year and decided we would be better as friends. Honestly, I'm glad we never became anything more than friends. He has turned into quite a "Ladies Man" these last two years, and by that I mean he's a man whore. Don't get me wrong, I love Max but I wouldn't love to be one of his girlfriends.

My phone starts ringing and it pulls me out of my thoughts.

"Hello!" I answered energetically.

"Hey little sis, how's it going?" My big sister Katy asks.

"Oh I guess it's going, just really bored. I'm trying to decide what I should do for the last week of summer." I answered.

"Well that's why I called actually, why don't you and Maxi Pad come down for a couple of days? I haven't seen you two in forever!" She says over exaggerating the situation in typical Katy fashion.

"Katy you know he hates when people call him that." I said scolding her. "And I would love to come down to the big city. What's the occasion?" I asked because I never know what Katy's motives are until it's too late and she's gotten me into some sort of predicament.

"No occasion. I just miss my little sister and her amazingly sexy British best friend that she should be dating but for some unknown and stupid reason isn't." She said causing me to laugh, for some reason my big sister has the hots for my best friend and thinks that I should be dating him.

"You know that's never going to happen Katy." I said back matter of factly.

"Yeah yeah, I know. I guess I might just have to date him then." She said trying to get a reaction out of me.

"Well you'll have to wait another year until he's eighteen so you don't get arrested. And plus, you need to be at least twenty eight to be considered a cougar Katy." I said making her laugh.

"Oh whatever. Just call me and let me know if you're coming down by tonight so I can get the house ready for you two. Love you little sis." She replied.

"Okay. Love you too." I said before hanging up the phone. I really want to go down and see her but I'll have to call Max and see if he wants to come along. I'm sure he does, he loves the attention he gets from my flirty older sister and he loves the big city. I decided to call him now.

"Hey there stud muffin." I said once he answered the phone.

"Hey sweet cheeks, what are you doing?" He asked not forgetting to call me by the typical nickname he usually does.

"Well I just called to ask if you wanted to come down to the city for a few days with me to hang out with Katy?" I asked already knowing what he was probably about to say.

"Hell yes!! When are we leaving?!" He asked just as excited as I thought he would be.

"I'm not sure, I'll let her know we're coming and see what she says. Oh, and meet me at the diner in half an hour. I'm fucking starving." I said before hanging up. I knew he would want to come. I texted my sister letting her know we would be coming down for a few days and made my way to the diner.

We live in a very small yet wealthy town. Everyone here are very successful business men and women. For instance, my father is the CEO of the biggest bank corporation in the country and my mother is a very successful corporate lawyer. This town is full of money and big mansions. There's a couple of neighborhoods out on the end of town with more moderate houses, but still pretty extravagant compared to most in all of the other surrounding towns.

As I pulled into the diners parking lot my phone sounded letting me know I had received a text. I read it as I walked inside. It was from Katy telling us to come down tomorrow afternoon. I sent her a quick reply and scanned all of the booths looking for my blonde headed best friend. I seen him in the back corner already stuffing his face with his favorite food ever, cheese fries.

"Good job waiting for me to get here before you ordered, asshole." I said as I sat down.

"Hey, I got you a Coke at least!" He said trying to defend himself with his mouth full.

"Close your mouth before you lose what little bit of sex appeal you have." I told him as I grabbed some of his fries. He shot me a shocked look and tried to swallow his food so he could fire back at what I had just said.

"Little bit of sex appeal?! You do realize that every time your sister sees me she has to hold herself back so she doesn't rip my clothes of right then and there? And besides, I get way more girls than you do!" He said trying to make it a competition, but it was the farthest thing from one.

"Okay first of all, my sister is a horny hormonal wreck and second of all, you get more girls than I do because I'm straight and don't want them. If I did you wouldn't be able to keep up with how many I had." I said acting cocky. He couldn't help but laugh at everything I had just said.

"That was the most accurate description I have ever heard of Katy. And you should be gay, you would be a sexy lesbian." He said staring off into the distance as he thought about me as a lesbian. I slapped his arm to stop those visions he had running through his mind.

"Stop thinking about that." I scolded him.

"And Katy told us to come tomorrow afternoon." I said trying to get him on a different topic.

"I am so excited dude!" He said bouncing up and down on his seat like a little kid. I couldn't help but smile over at my child like best friend. I really couldn't imagine life without him. I'm so glad that when he moved from England his parents found this little town to call their new home.

After we had dinner and talked about what all we wanted to do in the big city this week we decided to head home. We have to pack and get some sleep. It's not a super long drive to the city, only an hour and a half but if you have to be cooped up in a car with Max for longer than twenty minutes it can get extremely tiring.

As I walked in the front door I was immediately greeted by my father.
"Hello darling!" He said as he walked over to give me a big bear hug like always. He has been on a business trip for the last two weeks.

"Hey Dad! I thought you weren't going to be home until Tuesday?" I asked once he let me go.

"Well that's how it was originally supposed to be, but I decided they didn't need me there any longer so I left early to come home to my girls." He said smiling down at me. I love my father so much. Even though he has a very demanding and time consuming job he always makes time for his wife and daughters and let's us know how much he loves and appreciates us.

We made our way into the living room where my mom was seated on the couch reading over some paper work for her current case.
"Hey Mama." I said as I sat down next to her.

"Hello darling." She replied not looking up from her work.

"So Katy called today and wants Max and I to go down to the city and visit her for a few days before school starts up again. You don't care do you?" I asked already knowing the answer.

"Of course not darling, it'll be good for you to get away for a while and spend some time with your sister." My dad replied knowing my mom was too wrapped up in everything she was doing to answer my question.

"We are leaving tomorrow afternoon so I better go and pack. Thanks guys!" I said as I made my way up the stairs to my room.

I pulled my suitcase out from under my huge California King sized bed and began to fill it with as many pairs of short shorts and bikinis as I could. I plan to spend most of my time at the beach. I did pack a couple of nice dresses and heals just incase Katy wanted to go out to a nice dinner or something. Once I was done packing I checked the time, it was almost eleven pm. I decided to call it a night and get some rest. God knows I need as much energy as I can get if I have to go on a road trip with Max.

And with that I laid down and was asleep before I ever even knew it.
