"So let me get this right, Terran brought you to the lake where you two first hung out, then he played you the same song over the rock for you guys," Carter said wrapping her head around the date," and then kissed you?"

"Yes, that is correct," I said for the tenth time, rolling my eyes.

"Awww, that is so romantic. You know, except for the part when he tipped both of you into the lake," Arion exclaimed.

"Yeah, yeah, yeah. Now can we please move this conversation on?" I begged, tired of talking about the date.

"Oh is Ezamai getting cranky," Carter said pinching my cheek.

"Yes and if you don't let go of my cheek, you will no longer have those fingers," I stated, trying to bite her hand.

"Whoa, calm down tiger," Carter said jokingly, getting up to get something to drink.

We sat in silence for minutes until I remembered a little secret Carter had forgotten to tell me about.

"Hey Carter," I said sliding over towards her.

"Yes, E?"

"How many siblings do you have again?"

"Only the she-devil, why do you ask?" she asked raising an eyebrow at me.

"Oh, because I met your twin brother the other night," I said crossing my arms over my chest," when was he ever going to be mentioned?"

"Never. Let's keep it that way," Carter said walking out of the kitchen.

I ran after her because she wasn't going to get out of this one that quickly. "No, we are going to talk about this," I demanded as we walked up the stairs.

"Fine. You really want to know?" Carter asked as I nodded my head," well yes I have a twin brother named Alec that goes to a boarding school in Europe since Rebecca's dad hates his guts and doesn't want to deal with him. I didn't bring him up because he wasn't important and most of my friends end up falling for him and regret it."

"I see, but you still could have told me," I said walking past Carter and down the hall to my room, swaying my hips slightly in a dance-like movement.

"You are so weird," Carter muttered as she walked into my room.

"I know, now the main question is: should we watch Lion King or Beauty and the Beast?"

3 Months Later:

The night air was rather cold, but tonight would be perfect. My very own house party. My parents had been very strict over parties and inviting others, besides the guys, over to possibly spend the night. But after some begging, pleading and reassurance from Carter that she would kick anyone's ass who got out of line; they said yes. And so, the rush began. While Jake, Tyler, Jorden and I began to hang basketball decorations around the court, I gave Carter and Beck some alone time and allowed them to go to town and get necessities. They have been dating for a little over four months and going strong. And have I forgotten to mention, we just won regionals. Gaining a win against the Blue-Mont Soldiers, 68-62; tonight was a night to celebrate. I hadn't seen Terran at all today, he told me family issues that he needed to attend to; but promised to make it. We had been dating for almost three months now.

"E! Where the hell is your speaker for the gym!" Jorden yelled from downstairs

"It's where is always is you, idiot! In the game room, under the pool table like always!" I shouted back to him, continuing to scavenge the kitchen for plastic cups.
