Getting ready for my date was crazy because a) I really don't have nice clothes b) I don't know how to dress nice and c) I don't know how to do hair. So, I had to call in the expert.

"Hey Arion, can you come here," I yelled down the stairs.

"What do you want now," she asked coming towards my room.

"So, you know how today is Friday," I said pacing around in my room.

"Yeah and tomorrow is Saturday," she replied sitting on my bed.

"Well, today is not just any Friday, its my first date and..." I didn't want to finish the sentence.

"And you don't know what to wear or how to do your hair," she replied looking annoyed.

"Yeah exactly," I said sitting at my desk.

"Well, it is just your luck that I know how to do all those things and I don't have anything better to do tonight," she said walking over to my closet," where are you going and what time is he picking you up?"

"We are going out to eat and then the drive in and he said he would be here at 7:30," I said checking over our texts.

"Ok, what time is it now?"

"6:30."

"What the hell, you only called me up here an hour before your date, for shame."

"I didn't think it would take that long to get ready," I exclaimed throwing my hands in the air.

"So naive you are Ehzamai, so naive, well we better get started," Arion said rummaging deep in my closet," you literally have no nice clothes."

"Well, sorry, but dressing nice isn't a thing I worry about," I said texting Carter wondering when she was going to get here.

"Oh, I know exactly what you should wear, brb," Arion said before running out of my room.

Carter texted me back saying she would be here in five minutes. She was coming over to see me before my date, but to mainly see Beck because they are now officially a thing, since their second date yesterday. Their date Monday after basketball went smashing, as Beck put it. He took her to his favorite little dinner and then out to his little lake spot. Then yesterday they went out to the same lake, but had a picnic instead because it was freakishly warm for November, I blame Global Warming. Now it is my turn to go out on a date and I nervous, like pumped for a game nervous. I mean it is only Terran and we have known each other for years, so this shouldn't go to bad, I hope.

My thoughts were broken when Arion skipped back into my room carrying a gift bag that looked plump full with clothes. She dumped all the contents of the bag onto my bed spreading every article of clothing out on the bed.

"This was your birthday present that I never gave you because I seriously forgot about it," Arion said moving shirts and skirts around to look for a perfect outfit.

"Wow, but I guess I can't expect to much from you," I said leaning back in my chair. Oh I wish Carter could get here faster, so I could be saved from the grasps of my sister.

"What is that supposed to mean," Arion asked hurt.

"Oh nothing," I said spinning in my chair.

"I don't think so because I think you were tryin-"

"Hey guys," Carter said walking into my room.

"Hey Carter," I said jumping up from my chair and running over to her.

"Hi Carter," Arion mumbled.

"What's up with her," Carter whispered to me.

"I insulted her and she didn't like that," I explained.
