(Taeil Oneshot)

Inspired by Hans Christian Andersen's "The Emperor And The Nightingale"

Taeil's POV

My name is Moon Taeil, and I'm a Prince. My father, the King, is a wise ruler of our kingdom. But one day, My father was struck by a sudden sickness which makes him weak and bed ridden. Without a King, our kingdom will not run efficently. Everyone is looking up to me to rule the whole kingdom. I may be the only heir to the throne but, I don't know how to handle the kingdom all by myself. I'm still young and unprepared. Having another plan in mind, I secretly went to a great friend of mine who is a wizard named Ymir.

"Ymir ? Are you there inside ? It's me, Taeil." I gently knocked on the wooden door. Just a few seconds, pink and blue clouds started to appear and

POOF !

An old man popped out infront of me which made me flinch. I chuckled and patted the old man's shoulder "It's good to see you again my dear friend." I said.
Ymir plastered a smile on his face "Long time no see your majesty. What brings you here in my old shack ? Oh come in ! Come in ! Let's have a chat inside." I nodded my head and followed him.

"I've heared the news. Your father is ill." Ymir said as he poured tea on my cup. My smile faded away and I slumped "Yes...Ymir...".
The old man looked at me with concerned eyes "What's with that face my boy ?"
I bitterly smiled at him "Well...I'm not yet ready to be a king. The only way to save the kingdom is to cure my father. Oh Ymir ! Do you know how to cure my father's sickness ?" I looked at him in the eyes. Ymir patted me on the head "My dear child...I have no powers to cure your father. Infact, there is another way to cure the King's sickness."
I showed a hopeful look "Oh please do tell me !". Ymir lead me to a table where in a magic crystal ball sits on the middle. Ymir started chanting but I don't understand anything at all. All I did is look at the crystal ball that's slowly glowing.

"Listen carefully my child" Ymir said and
I nodded my head.

"A song from a Nightingale can cure any sickness. This bird is very hard to find for It's color blends in very well with the Blue trees of the Blue forest. This bird only appears at night. To catch the bird is not to harm it. You must impress the Nightingale by your song. My dear Prince it might be quite difficult because only one Nightingale exists."
I looked at him "The blue forest is not that far from here. I will try my best to bring the Nightingale to my father." I stood up and hugged the old wizard "Thank you for helping me Ymir." Ymir smiled "I'll always serve and help you you're majesty."
As soon as we bid our goodbyes I directly went to the Blue forest while riding my horse. I finally arrived to my destination and have to do is wait for the sun to set.

Agtha's POV (YourPOV)

When I was a kid, I was cursed to become a Nightingale. You know why ? Hah ! That horrible wizard told me that he was annoyed from my singing and that's why he turned me into a bird ! Goshhhh ! This urghhdhdhshhshh ! I'm so mad at him ! I was just a kid at that time ! I was running around the garden while singing until he just poofed infront of me ! I mean who can just pop out infront of you without any permission !? *sighs* I need to calm down....

I don't know who are my parents and I don't know where I live. The only mermory that is always on my mind is the wizard's curse. If only that didn't happen, Im not alone in the blue fores- OWWW ! What the hell was that ?! *rubs forehead*
I quickly looked down and saw something blue. It's very shiny so I was so curious.
I perched down on the ground and pecked the blue pebble, words suddenly flew out of it. I was startled but I read it

The curse will be broken when you sing a song to a man who is sick for not so long.
You must be impressed to the man's only son for he will come to you and render a song. His song must covince you to go along with him and cure his poor father then the curse that's upon you will end.
