I find it hard to believe that just over one hundred years ago only seventy-five percent of the world was covered in water. Now, ninety-nine percent of the world is, and the remaining one percent is Aldham.

At the end of the 21st century, two major complications combined to cultivate a disaster. The mass flooding and waste on the Earth's surface became the perfect breeding ground for disease. The oceans became toxic, spreading illness like wildfire. The Black Sea Plague was merciless, driving humans to the brink of extinction. When it passed, the survivors rebuilt humanity on the only land left. That was the creation of the city of Aldham.

The city was divided into terrains, each with a different purpose. The Grey-terrains were the factory workers, the Greens managed the agriculture, the Reds provided military power and, finally, the Whites. The White-terrains were the Pure-minded. They were the court of Pure, a collection of esteemed scientists and doctors. The citizens of Aldham lived by their rules and regulations in peace and harmony.

Until the disappearances began.
