Paws pound through the Earth's surface, crunching through the woods fallen leaves and sticks.
Birds flee away from the noise, their wings flapping against the cool autumn wind.
Growls and snarls are carried in the wind, echoing throughout the forest.
My head snaps towards all directions, trying to decipher as to where the noise is coming from.
My back was leaning on a tree trunk, while my palms pressed against my wound. A gash was created on the side of my abdomen, the blood seeping through my fingers unto the cool Earth. My back slides down the trunk as I sit on the dirt with my right leg stretch out and my left leg standing. My palms never leaving the gash.
A twig snaps to my right, bringing my attention to it.
A lone wolf stands about 100 feet away from me as it sniffs the cool air. Its nose flaring and its ears twitching at the slightest noise. It sniffs the ground and wags its tail excitedly before it tenses.
Its head snaps up and looks at me straight in the eyes. It runs towards me before coming to a halt and stares at my wound.
My breathing had become shorter and every movement I made sent shocks go up my spine. A burning sensation had started to gather over my wound, making the pain 10 times worse. A gasp escape my mouth as the wound throbs and burns.
I inhale in the much needed oxygen before exhaling. My breathing coming out raggedy, as I exhale slowly as to not disturb the wound. I cannot heal quickly enough for this wound was inflicted while using silver.
A whining catches my attention.
The lone wolf has been sitting in front of me the whole time. As I look at it closely I realize that it is not a Rogue but an Alpha, based on the powerful aura it gives off and its wolf's size.
It whines again.
My eyes start to droop down, as my body starts to shut down. I don't have much longer before I completely loose conscious. I hang my head back and watch the sky for this could be my last.
Bones popping and rearranging can be heard in the background. The shuffling of feet come near me. I look at it source and realized the wolf had changed into its human form. The corners of my vision had started to black out not letting me see clearly, only a blurry silhouetted figure
Piercing gray eyes is the last thing I see before I am taken into oblivion.
My alarm sounds off, cutting off my sleeping state.
I roll on the bed so that I'm facing belly up and throw my arm over my eyes to block out the suns rays, while using my other arm to slap the alarm clock shut. When I hear a satisfying silence I give out a satisfactory sigh.
At least I can go back to sleep.
As soon as I start to wander back into dreamland I'm awaken by a body throwing themselves at me.
I didn't even hear the person walk into my room.
I give out a loud 'oof' before my lungs start to cry by the lack of oxygen.
I start to squirm around under the heavy weight before I hear a familiar laugh.
In other words, my best friend.
What is he doing here? He never comes in the mornings? He doesn't have time to do so.
"Jason, get off of me you goof! I can't breathe with your fat self on top of me!" I yell at him.

Hombres LoboI just stood there, stunned that this human being was actually willing to try things out with me without knowing who, or what I am. He didn't know anything about my past and- "I can hear your thoughts." He stated. At this I pushed him away from me...
