Chapter 7 - Him

(Max's POV)

Today is perfect.
I can tell Ross I love him today, it's the weekend.
We have off and Ross wants to go out.
Tim.. Wait where did Tim go?

"Yo, Tim!" I yell, walking though the house.

I knock on his door and don't hear an answer.

I shrug and go back into the kitchen to see a note on the counter.

I went to the store cause we are pretty much out of, well everything.

Sweet.
Now Tim won't be yelling across the room about food when I'm talking to Ross.

Annnd I don't know where Ross is either.. Dammit.
Why do I keep losing people?

(Ross's POV)

Tonight is the night.
I can tell Max about my feelings.
Tim won't be yelling at us.
And I'll get a weight off my shoulders.

I'm in my room laying on my bed and staring at the ceiling like its talking.

What if he says no?
What if he doesn't feel the same?
But he's kissed me.
He has kissed back.
He blushes when reading the ship comments.
It's fine.

I grab a marker and write on my hand.
On my pinkie it says 'Calm'
On my ring finger it says 'Breath'
On my pointer finger it say 'Don't Worry'
And on my middle finger it says 'Max'

Putting the marker in my pocket, I walk out into the living room to see Max pacing the room mumbling to himself.

"Hey Max-Chan!" I say enthusiastically.

He doesn't look up, he seems to be lost in a world of his own.

"Maxxxx.." I whine.

Nothing.

"Max-Senpai!" I yell, and he looks up shocked.

I blush at the fact I had just called Max 'Senpai'.

"Hey Narwhal." He responds, smirking and blushing.

"Um.. Um.." I say, forgetting what I was going to say.

"Hey Ross, do you want to go down to the park? It's only a little ways away. We can walk there cause Tim-Tim took the car." He asks, his eyes hopeful.

"Yeah! That's sounds fun!" I say, smiling.

I go into my room and start getting ready.

Me and Max are walking and talking, we can see the park.
It is really close to our house.

We arrive and sit by the fountain, talking about Anime.

"Who is your favourite ship?"I ask

"Um.." He blushes.

"M-Redney!" He stammers, laughing nervously.

"I was talking about Anime ships but okay!" I laugh.

Max face palms.

Then, I see him.

The one that broke my heart.
That left before I could confess.
The one that I pleaded for him not to leave, but he did.
He never came back.

But now here he is.
Walking towards us, his head down and his hands in his pockets.
His purple jacket bright in the dark night.

"Hey! Ross!" JinBop shouted, waving and smiling.

He jogged up to us and we stood up.

I refused to look in him in the eyes.
He lied.
He said he'd never leave me.
But he did.

"Long Time No See, JinBop." I spit his name with venom.

Max looked confused and so did Jin.

But then his face light up with memory.

~Flash Back Begins~
"Please Jin, Don't go." Ross begged.

Jin put his suitcase down and lifted the narwhal's chin up to look at him.

"I'm sorry. I have to leave. I don't want to play Minecraft anymore. I'll keep in touch, I promise." He whispered trying to calm the fragile boy.

"Bullshit." Ross spoke, tears forming in his eyes.

He looked Jin in the eyes.

"I don't want to hear it. You're leaving because you can. You don't have to leave." Ross barely got the last words out because he was about to cry.
But he didn't want Jin to know that he cared that much. So he held it in.

Jin looked ashamed, he took Ross's face in his hands and kissed him sweetly.

"Bye Ross. I hope we can see each other again." Jin said as he walked away, suitcase in hand.

And Ross felt like his heart had just been dropped on the cold sidewalk.
He watched the black haired male walk away, until he couldn't see the purple of his sweater anymore.

He then, and only then, collapsed onto the cold ground and cried.
Deep Loud Sobs.

~Flash Back Ends~

They stared at each other, they had both just remembered the same scene.
The same memory.
The same night.
The same kiss.
The same sobs.
