The Flash!

So, a friend of mine was arguing with me about The Flash. We have silly arguments over... pretty much everything. We had an argument over a banana and a Sonic Screwdriver once...

Anyway, I was asking him if he would rather fly like Superman for a day, or run like The Flash for a week. He said he wanted to fly. I agreed. Flying would be really cool!

He said the reason he wanted to fly was so that he could fly around the world and go to other countries. I said that he would still be able to do that as The Flash, since The Flash can run across the ocean. He said that The Flash can't run across water. And then we did the old, "Yeah, he can!", "No, he can't!" Argument.

So, what do you think? Who's right? Can The Flash run across water?
