Your POV:

I wonder when Carlos is going to man up and ask me out (Decembra1998)...

I mean, I expect him to... I'm pretty sure he's finding true beast way to ask me to the dance right about now...

Carlos's POV:

I still can't decide to ask her to marry me or not.

"Did you ask her to the dance that's tomorrow night?"

"The dance is tomorrow night!?"

"Yeah. Did you ask (f/n)?"

"N-No."

"Worst. Boyfriend. Ever."

"Days the guy who cant even keep a girlfriend."

"It's not my fault I'm too hot to handle."

"Is hot even a word in your dictionary?"

"What's a dictionary?" He asks teasingly.

"It's a book that-"

"Bored already."

"Of course you are."

I grab my bag and I run into Evie in the halls.

"Evie, can we talk?"

"Sure. What's up?"

"I was too busy fretting about what (f/n) would say if I asked her to marry me that I didn't ask her to go to the dance with me."

"Wait- you're going to propose!?"

"Yes, now can we stay on point? Help me."

"Okay. Here's what you do. Find Audrey and ask her to whip up a quick banner of cheerleaders and tourney players and ask her with a rose."

"You're a genius. I owe you one."

"Finish my homework."

"Okay." I shrug and head to my next class. Coincidence included when Audrey walks in.

Here goes nothing.

"Hey, Audrey."

"Oh, so now you want to me? What's up?"

"I want to ask (f/n) to the dance and I want the cheerleaders and tourney players in on it. Can you whip up a quick banner that says 'Dance with me?'?" I ask with a pleading face.

"Heh. Sure. (f/n) has done a lot for me."

"Thank you. You're a lifesaver."

"Yeah. Yeah. Now, go sit down..."

I sit down and I think that (f/n) is going to enjoy the next few weeks.

I leave class and Audrey tells me to keep (f/n) from the field until 5. That gives them two hours to make a poster.

I find (f/n).

"Hey, how was your day?"

"Good."

"Where are you headed?"

"The field."

"Why?"

"Audrey said that there was a meeting today."

"That's why I'm here. Audrey told me to tell you that it was canceled. So, want to hang out?"

"Carlos, I doubt that she said anything to you."
