I walked around for a good fifteen minutes before finally finding Second Unit's office. I paused to take a breath before entering, and oh what a scene I walked in on.

Skylee was standing face to face with a spiky red-haired man. Although Skylee may be one of the nicest people I've ever met, she can be fierce. Skylee was wearing a stylish leather jacket on top of a loose white tank top, skinny jeans, and, of course, her beloved combat boots. Her midnight black hair flowed down to about mid back in its natural curls, and her bangs fell off to the side.

I turned my eyes on the man, and despite the current tension between the two, it was comical how similarly they were dressed. The man was dressed casually in a white T-shirt and a grungy leather jacket and jeans. He looked about six feet tall, definitely the tallest of the bunch, and based on the stories Skylee has told me, I'd have to guess that was Tennoji.

Skylee was practically pulling her hair out as she raged. "Tennoji, if you don't stop asking me questions about freaking baseball, of all things, I will punch you so hard you won't be able to talk for a week!"

Tennoji snorted. "Like you could even get a swing on me." He stated confidently.

I had heard about Tennoji's baseball obsession. Unlike me, who is half Japanese and half French, Skylee is one hundred percent American. Apparently, when Tennoji found out, he started questioning her almost nonstop about the sport.

"Oh really, tough guy? You wanna bet?" Skylee gritted her teeth and seethed her irritation out them as she got all up in his face.

"I wouldn't make that bet if I were you."

I just laughed and slowly walked into the room as I said that, interjecting as everyone else was just enjoying the show. Skylee spun around at the sound of my voice, and her face instantly brightened.

"Halle!" She exclaimed excitedly and practically tackled me in a hug. All of the guys watched her in shock at her sudden change in behavior.

"Okay, you can let go now... I need to breath." I laughed through my strangled breaths, and she sheepishly let go of my throat.

"Sorry." Skylee flashed me an awkward grin before dropping the look and sighing sharply. "Gosh, it took you long enough to get here. Did you get lost? Again?" She leaned towards me teasingly.

I just snorted derisively and looked away in denial. "What? Of course not!"

Even in my three inch heels, Skylee was still taller than me. Yeah, Skylee is five-foot eight. Tall bitch...

Skylee did all she could to hold back a laugh as she clearly didn't believe me. "Yeah, okay... Sure."

A different man stepped forward to explain my presence. "Guys, this is the newest member of our team: Halle Mitchell."

This must be Kirisawa, the leader of Second Unit, and at only twenty-nine, too. He had short black hair that was combed back out of his face, drawing attention to his kind smile. He wore a simple white button-up, a black blazer, and black work pants. From what Skylee had told me, he's pretty laid back and an all around good guy.

"Hey, I know you! You're that woman from the elevator this morning."

I looked up at the sound of that voice and locked eyes with the man I had shared the elevator with earlier this morning, and fought the blush that was threatening to creep up onto my cheeks. He was actually quite handsome in his three-piece black suit with a red tie. His light brown hair was a similar shade to mine, but it was short and spiky, and his sharp, dark brown eyes were now studying me carefully. With those striking eyes, that was definitely Hanai.
