I woke up for school, my alarm clock blaring at me to get up. This weekend was the last rodeo of the school year and my school was tied with another.

With it on my mind I pulled on some socks and bootcut jeans before dawning on a muscle shirt that said this ain't my first rodeo. The prca was here as well for the weekend but the school one was during the morning. 'Tomorrow's the day it starts.' I thought as I marked off another day on my calendar.

I opened my window and put my boots on before going down the hall to the kitchen

I opened my window and put my boots on before going down the hall to the kitchen. Grandpa was sitting in his recliner eating eggs and toast. I fixed myself a bowl of Frosted Flakes because theerrrreeeee grrreeeaaaat. Me trying to be Tony the Tiger.

As I ate the news played on about all this happening. Then commercials came on. The first advertisement was about the rodeo this weekend and where to buy tickets.

I finished my breakfast and brushed my teeth then pulled my hair into a ponytail and got my backpack. I walked into the mud room and put my favorite Ariat fat baby boots on.

"Bye granpa see you after school." I yelled through the screen door. "Have a good day pumpkin and do your best." He yelled back. I went to my ford f-100 and threw my bag into the passenger seat after I got in.

I started it up and back up before going down the driveway. Once I got to school I parked next to the richest person on my team. I got my bag and got out as he came up to me. "Morning June bug." He said flirtatiously. "What do you want Bobby?" I asked him.

"Would you date me?" He asked. "For the last time I will never date someone like you." I said looking back at him. "We will only be friends. Only friends." I continued to say. All he does is ride Broncs on the rodeo team and thinks he's going to get all the girls to fall for him.

I'd actually tell him that the calf ropers and bull riders get more girls than bronc riders. "Hey Ju ready for tomorrow?" Gabe my best friend asked. He's a calf roper and bull rider. "Definitely ready for tomorrow. Are you going to watch the pros afterwards?" I said.

"Oh yeah. LJ and Bonner's going to be there." He said enthusiastically. "What about Tuf Cooper and Kollin VonAhn?" I asked. "Girl their going as well." He said throwing an arm around me.

I giggled. "Well then you better get autographs those two days." I said to him as we walked into the school. If I'd date anyone it would probably be him.

We met up with the rest of the team and split ways. I went to class with Bobby and Austin. Austin was a team roper and he loves what he did.

After the first four hours we met up in the cafeteria. Gabe and Mitch sat across from me, Bobby and Austin. Mitch was the other team roper and the brother of Austin by ten months.

"So which cowboy's a** are you going to be staring at June?" Mitch asked. "You honestly want to know?" I asked. "Yeah." They all said at once. "Well... First is the bull riders. I will be watching LJ but he recently got engaged so that will leave Bonner Bolton. Then for the Calf Ropers it will be Tuf Cooper and I heard that him and Kollin VonAhn are now married." I rambled on.

"So only Bolton?" Bobby asked. I scrunched up my brows. "No there will be an entire arena full of hot cowboys." I said looking at them. "Including me?" Bobby asked. I looked at him like he was an alien or something. All the boys cracked up laughing except Bobby.

"Bobby you might wanna stop trying to get that girl cause she's declined you faster than I can rope." Gabe said laughing. "Faster than us too." Austin said motioning between him and his brother.

I rolled my eyes as the bell rang. "See y'all later." I told the boys as I got up to throw my trash away. "Good luck this weekend." The star quarterback said. "Thanks." I told him as we walked into the fifth hour class.

Gabe walked with me to my truck

Gabe walked with me to my truck. "Guess I'll see ya bright and early?" He asked. "Yeah and I'll bring an extra nylon just in case." I said opening my door and getting in. I always had an extra rope for each of my guys in their own color.

He walked over to his truck as I started mine up. I backed out and drove out of the parking lot and turned up the radio. Both of my windows were down and the radio was cranked.

I plugged in my phone to play a little Colt Ford. Crank it up blared as I drove down the highway. When I stopped at a stop light I looked over and could have sworn it was Bonner Bolton with a second glance and I realized it was.

I snapped a pick then the light turned to green. The next song was Bottoms up featuring TI, I passed him and went home. When I got home I texted Gabe about the meet.

I sent him the picture and he sent me this '...........😳..........' Yeah he was pretty well not expecting that.

I got out of the truck leaving my bag and headed to get Kiger ready for tomorrow. One of grandpa's hands was already walking him. I got the tack soap and cleaned all my tack. When I was done I washed my handsome black horse with an off set mane and tail. They were cream colored.

I put my horse blanket on him and wrapped the bottom half of his legs. I put his ear bonnet on and mucked out his stall. Then I loaded his tack into the tack compartment along with three extra ropes, leads and halters.
