Chapter 2 - No one cares!

Lilly's p.o.v

Tomorrow was the day I get my uniform, everyone has to wear one that resembles your element, mine is water. My mum says I have to empty my wardrobe, but I can't make myself do that, so when my mum comes upstairs to see a full wardrobe she starts throwing my stuff into a box, I just watch her. She takes the box downstairs and brings a new box up, she opens it, and hangs my new clothes up. Most of them are teal coloured dresses, which I don't mind wearing, she brings out what I was hoping for the most, a white frilly dress that comes up to my knees with different shades of blue flower patterns, it's the one I'll be wearing the most with my white slip on's. My mum says to try them all, but all I want to try is the best, but she insits, and then says

"If you don't like certain ones I'm willing to change them as I was taught how to stitch and knit" she smiles at me, I stare at her because I was so shocked she would do that for me I ran over to her and hugged her, I let go and she walked out and closed the door, I tried them all on, saving the best for last, some of them were too big and too small, I reached in to grab the last outfit, my favourite one! I put it on and ran to the mirror, it was perfect. I twirled around and watched it flow, I left it on and decided to go outside and sit in my garden.

I almost fell asleep when my brother splashed me with a water ball, and flew off. It's annoying because I can't get him back, I haven't learnt to fly yet, and being the youngest and most smallest always left me walking around after everyone. And I haven't 'mastered' my powers yet and always splash my water balls every where. We don't have school here, we just get an occasional lesson here and there. But there is nothing to do here, no one ever does anything because they feel it's bad because the protecter is watching, but I think we should always try something new.

But no one listens to me. I hope the protector listens to me, since no one cares around here!
