"What?"

"Lil, you don't have to shriek so loudly! Do you have to let the whole world know?"

Lily just ignored my comment. She took a deep breath.

"Derra, our flight was cancelled. We have to take a commercial flight. That means, with women with babies and snoring drunk men, and forever complaining old ladies!" She said, distressed.

"Who cares anyway? If you don't want to take the flight, then don't! Lil, not everybody is rich in this world! How about those hungry people in Africa or undeveloped countries? Just take it because there is no other choice." I said everything in one breath.

At least I treasure what I have. Except the excessive coins and notes in my wallet.

Lily looked down at her stiletto-clad feet and breathed deeply. "I'm sorry." She finally mumbled.

I put my hand to my ear. "Say what?"

"I. Am. Sorry." She stopped mumbling and repeated it, louder this time.

"I can't hear you!" I teased her.

"I'm sorry!"she half-yelled at me.

We boarded the commercial plane early and were seated immediately at the first-class seating area. Of course Lil arranged it, I thought sullenly.

I sat down on one of the leather chairs and started to eat a red velvet cupcake that one of the stewardesses handed to me. Did I look that hungry? And did I see a whole hallway of private bedrooms?

I was born into a rich and fortunate family, but that didn't mean I was used to having furniture or other stuff made of taffeta, velvet, brocade or whatever. Or loads of money at my disposal. Okay. (Maybe not, now that I think more into this. But who cares.)

Where is Lil anyway? I craned my neck and looked around, not spotting her. I decided to take a short nap.
