Edit: Yikes, 13 year old me had no clue about anything. Leaving your abuser really isn't that simple. It's a vicious cycle, and unfortunately, many people never get the chance to escape. Most of the time, the abuser has a mental hold on the victim that makes it impossible to leave. It's okay to rely on others for support.
