Tired

Her candles say 16,
But she feels old as can be.
She holds a shattered soul,
Some pieces lost at sea.
Her mind holds a wisdom
Nobody's can compare.
Her thoughts feel like a prison
Those thoughts she cannot share.
Trying to think of
The perfect wish,
The candles slowly burn,
Wax collecting in the dish.
You thought the candles were on a cake?
Sadly, you were wrong.
This poor girl has no one to care,
This girl will never belong.
