He had warned her about the book. Now it
was to late. It was 6:30 in the evening.
Lindzie was at home enjoying a nice warm dinner with her best friend. Lindzie is a fourteen year-old, who lost her parents at the age of 6. Her parents and her brother Scott were murdered by a man named Joe. Joe is a tall, kind of chubby guy with short brown hair, and blue eyes. At the table Lindzie turns on the TV. Carrie, Lindzie's best friend, looked at the TV in shock. She turned toward Lindzie and said, "Hey isn't that the Joe guy who murdered your parents?"
"Yeah" Lindzie said. "And my brother."
"It says he got released from prison two weeks ago." Replied Carrie.
"WHAT! That can't be possible." Gasped Lindzie.
"Didnt he write a book?" Asked Carrie.
"Yes he did, right after he went to prison." Lindzie replied anxiously.
"Have you read it?"
"No. But i heard they sell it in a book store in New York." Said Lindzie.
"Well how about me and you take a road trip to NY this weekend, and see what this book is really all about?" Carrie suggested.
Without thinking Lindzie answered, "Okay, sounds like a plan."
