To say Max was in shock would be an understatement, he never expected to see Alex in this old tavern again, let alone be walking straight towards him. Alex had changed, he was even more handsome than Max remembered. He would have thought this moment was a dream but the thundering in his chest told him otherwise.

By the time Alex realized there was another person at the table he chose, it was too late. He had already made it close enough to lock eyes with Max and once he looked into those big emerald green orbs the memories came slamming into him all at once. His vision began to fade into a milky white color, his mind went into a haze, and the room began to spin; all he could hear was Max's angelic voice calling his name.
