Hi guys, this is the first ever time that I am going to publish a big project on Wattpad. I also haven't written for a long time, so you might expect errors from here and there; so please cut me some slack. Let's enjoy the story, sit back and relax, and play the music (you don't have to though).

It was a Saturday Morning. Outside, the sun was shining in the sky, early in the morning. The bluish, night sky was slowly being replace by the sun's yellow-orange light, with wisps of clouds up in the sky, shaped like feathers. The song of nature sang, its melodic voice traveling through the waking city of Woodside. The shops, and boutiques built next to each other by the city proper had started to flick open their lights and open their doors, ready for the next day. The unique aroma of cookie dough from the bakeries, incense from the libraries, potpourri from the flower shops, and lavender from the bath and body works, and the freshly ground coffee beans of the coffee shops wafted in the chilly, morning air. The streetlights that stood by the sidewalks on either side had started to flicker off. The clashing of metal garage-like doors that covered the city proper's shops had opened. The song of the wind sang once again towards Woodside's precious landmark.
The Forest, an untouched woods which enclosed several neighboring houses with some treehouses built around the barks of the oak trees, creating a web of these houses. By the far left of the web of treehouses were the garages for the people's cars, built next to each other, whitewashed and faced another line of whitewashed garages. Further to the right were the neighborhood of house similar to those in a suburban neighborhood, interweaving around the trees, and built a couple of meters away from each other. And to the right of that neighborhood was another garage which housed the cars of the people.
The leaves swayed to the song of the wind once more, filling the chilly morning air. One of the houses in the enclosed neighborhood was a Victorian house, elevated from the ground by a couple of feet which faced another house across it, and between them was a brick path, that ran among the whole concealed neighborhood. To the left of the Victorian house was a lamp post, and next to it was another house, and another lamp post, and another house...
The two story Victorian styled house was made with spruce and oak wood, with its walls painted white. Inside the Victorian styled house, the inner walls were painted with a dark shade of brown, in either side of the front patio were two rooms, one room contained a two leather couches, four tall bookshelves filled with books ranging from fiction to non-fiction and business books. Between the couches was a wooden coffee table, and across the coffee table, by the window was a computer desk. The other room, on the other hand, only had a doorframe leading to a lounge and living room, an accent table was placed to the right of a white leather couch, in front of it was another table, and by the wall was a TV mounted on a wall, beneath that was a sleek, and somewhat modern TV stand, with two stereo speakers on each side. To the left of the lounge was a Fireplace with statues and collectibles on top, further to the left, was a small bridge, and on either side of it were two, small, ponds with water lilies floating on the surface of the water. The small bridge, or walkway lead towards the bar, kitchen, and dining room.
Upstairs, in one of the bedrooms, the noise of the shower filled the still, morning air. The shower stopped with a creak. The bedroom was lit with the soft glow of the morning light, almost seemingly like a cliché, young adult, Hollywood movie where the protagonist wakes up from their slumber while an aesthetic, calm, song plays in the background whilst the main character gets ready for their day. The bedroom had several posters posted on its spruce walls, a soccer poster posted by the bed's headboard, a book poster by the computer desk. There were strewn books across the wooden floor, and a guitar propped on a stand, next to a red, living chair; and a navy blue backpack leaning against the wooden frame of a bed. Across the bed was a life sized mirror with stickers, and small magnets attached to it, with a picture of two girls; there was a tall, white, ginger girl of sixteen, and a shorter, dark skinned brunette of the same age, having her arm wrapped around the other girl's waist. And next to the life sized mirror was a tape measure attached to the wall with a red marking by the five feet mark.
As the door leading to the bathroom opened with a soft creak, the brunette stepped out from the shower with a towel wrapped around her body, and approached her closet changing into a set f clothes as she got ready for her day. Soft footsteps, the scent of freshly made scrambled eggs and bacon; filled the still, morning air. The girl picked up the mess of thrown across books on the floor of her bedroom floor, arranging them once again by the bookshelf that stood next to the computer desk, placing them neatly in their respective shelves; after, she put on her Chuck Taylors, and approached the mirror.
She stopped by the mirror her green eyes scanning her figure from head to toe; the soft glow of the morning sun illuminating her olive brown skin, and she squinted her eyes, trying to evaluate her height, and a rather displeased sigh escaped her lips, and she picked her hipster framed glasses from her desk, adjusting them properly.
With a clearer image, she checked herself again, scanning over her athletic figure, her height once again , her angular features, and the green, manic, fire that blazed in her eyes was alive again, filled with energy and determination.
"Alright Woodside," her lilted voice was laced with positivity, determination, and a cheery tone, "what have you got for me?"
