[oo] " prologue "

⠀⠀⠀⠀NEVER did she think she'd end up here. bleeding out, barely breathing, about ready to face an old friend. death. it was hard for her to believe that all the events of her life had led her here. after all the shit she had walked through, this was how her life would end. not with a bang, but with a whimper. a fade off into the night.

⠀⠀⠀⠀she violently gasped for air, but she could barely allow any into her lungs. her head felt like it was going to explode. dark crimson blood seeped through her shirt from the gash on her side. she extended her arm in effort to reach for her oxygen tank. her fingers curled around the handle before it was nudged just out of her reach by a bare foot.

⠀⠀⠀⠀sinister female laugher filled the cold night air, sending shivers down the human girls spine. it was something straight out of a nightmare. coughing, she peered up at the bare footed female who loomed over her.

⠀⠀⠀⠀"you're unbelievably pathetic." the woman mused, sneering down at her dying frame.

⠀⠀⠀⠀"i'm—" she was cut off while trying to grasp for the air to say the words. "not...not begging." she girl managed. the pale woman arched an eyebrow.

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀"oh, but you will."
