Ch.2 Rewind (Revised)

Cassie POV

I seem to have forgot to introduce myself, my name is Cassetta Miller. I am 19, I have an older sister named Destiny she's 23 and a younger brother named Jacob who's 7.

We all still live with my mom since it's normal for werewolves to live with their parents until you mate and her new husband Bryan the beta of our current pack. Bryan's fine, but he has a dimness where life should be in his eyes and it's frankly depressing. My dad "left" us in the middle of the night or so mom says.

I've had my suspicions of him leaving the way she says he did because there are two sides to every story. What my intuition says is that Mom kicked him out in one of their many fights over money and she thought he would return back begging forgiveness with promises to finds better job. They were chosen mates this two, meaning their fates mates rejected them or they never found them and gave up.

In the werewolf world pride ranks above even family so Mom's plan was sure to bust, which it did, so to hide her embarrassment she told us he just left. But hey, *sips metaphorical tea* that's none of my buisness.

Even though I'm talking of my suspicions don't get me wrong, I love my mom, but in all honesty I was a bit of a daddy's girl and the story she tried to feed us simply didn't add up because I know we were his pride and joy.

But moving off that never ending topic of my parents my Mom and us ended up moving packs because, "too many memories," at our old one so now we are apart of the Royalties.

This pack is located North of South Dakota and they are known for being a wealthy strong pack 1 of the top 5 in the U.S., since we don't really keep up to date with the packs in other countries too well our statistics are limited.

But all in all Sounds legit right? That's what I thought too, until I met this cocky 22 year old asshat of a pup, and can you guess with my luck who it is? No, well it's the soon to be Alpha and my fated mate of course.
