In every cliche story, there’s a girl and a guy and there is a conflict and there is love. So I guess this is cliche. But, maybe it’s not as cliche as you’d think.

Nikki has always been the kind of girl to fight through her problems with a smile on her face and tears in her eyes. She’s been alone in her own world since her mother put her on the streets four months after her father’s death. At age 15, Nikki is anything but your average girl. Zeke is a regular at the restaurant where Nikki works. He’s never noticed her before, and when he does he immediately tries to catch her fancy. But Nikki is so iced and jaded from her past that she can’t seem to notice Zeke as more than a customer. Can Zeke get her attention, or will Nikki stay blind to his charm.
