"Mom wheres my hills?"I asked her, she handed them to me smiling
"My baby first date"She hugged me
"Mom please don't make this weird"I laughed putting on my hills she walked away I looked at myself in the mirror I picked up my phone waiting for a text from Hayes I heard footsteps coming up stairs
"Mom how do I look?"I asked
"You look beautiful....."Hayes voice echoed I turned around and smiled
"Same to you"I said we walked downstairs my mom hugged Hayes tightly I laughed
"Sorry"She let him go, me and Hayes walked to his car he opened the door for me
"What a gentleman"I laughed as he got into the car
"Don't start it"Heshyly smirked Hayes started the car driving off
"So you thought about were we are going?"He asked me
"Yeah........The beach"I smiled
"Andrea it's like 10,o clock at night"He said
"I know"I said Hayes wasn't bothered by my choice of where to go I'm not surprised he is never really a complainer
"Hayes you have any brothers and sisters?"I asked
"Yeah 2 brothers and 1 sister"He said
"Oh....I had a brother too he got sick and died a year ago I try not to think about it often"I said Hayes was silent the sound of the air of the freeway hit my ears
At the beach
Hayes parked his car no one was at the beach it was empty and silent the sound of the night waves was kissing my ear drums
"So this is where you wanna be?"Hayes asked
"Yeah.."I said taking my shirt off
"What are you doing?"He stopped me
"What's the point of coming to the beach if you aren't going to swim?"I smiled
"It's dangerous"He said
"Rule number two:Take risk"I smiled at him he looked at me as if I was a mirror
"Ok...."he said taking his shirt off I ran jumping into the water
"Sooo cold!"I shouted Hayes laughed sitting in the sand
"What are you doing, get in"I said he looked at me
"I am just not yet"He said playing in the sand I looked into his crystal eyes
"Hayes......you ok?"I asked
"Yeah I'm ok I have no choice but to be"He laughed
"Hayes it's ok not to be ok"I told him he looked at me
"I know that......but shown in history, saying that your fine isn't working anymore"He said
"Then what's wrong?"I asked him
"When I'm with you I feel like a new person Andrea, this is a feeling I never get I can just be myself and it's ok with you.....why?"He stated
"Hayes I met you a week ago and I feel like we have already been through so much and maybe that means something"I spoke
"I rather be alone then with you"He said
"Why is that?"I asked
"I put you in harms way all the time"He said I never saw this side of Hayes
"It's ok cause I'm fine"I smiled
"You wanna know how I really feel inside....?"He asked
"Yes I really do"I said he stood up walking into the water
"Come in"He said I got up walking into the water Hayes walked back a couple more inches
"More"He spoke
"Hayes I can't go that far I can't swim so good"I told him but then he mouthed rule number 2 take risk, he stepped out farther into the water I followed be grabbed my body holding me under water I tried pushing him off but he was to strong I could feel my lungs losing air I opened my eyes to see darkness I could no longer breathe and just when I was about to blackout he pulled me back up.....I grasped for air dragging myself back to the sand I laid there coughing up water
"Now you know how I feel Andrea I always have to save my dam self I keep drowning in others sorrow,somethings will never change"He told me I couldn't speak I was out of breath I just looked at him with tears in my eyes he picked me up setting me in his car I opened his door throwing up Water
"Andrea when you were under water what did you want to do?"He asked me I took a deep breath
"Breathe......"I whispered
"When you want to me as happy as bad as you wanna breathe then that's when you'll be happy"Hayes started the car I caught my breath back I didn't speak to him the whole ride I wasn't angry with him or hurt I was just lost I don't know how to explain it Hayes parked in front of my house .
"I can understand why your upset....I should have never done that to you it was a bad example"He looked at me
"No it wasn't Hayes, I understand now I felt your pain and it hurts"I told him he look at me
"Your so brave Andrea you have so much heart......."He came closer to me I closed my eyes hoping he was going to kiss me but I felt his lips touch my neck slowly......only to be removed
"I had fun"He looked into my eyes I nodded he unlocked the door I got out the car waving goodbye and walked into my house
"Why are you wet?"My mom asked
"Oh....I fell into Hayes pool"I bit my lip she nodded I walked up stairs into my room
