Preference #24 You fight

Harry: He lets you scream and rant out at him, because he knows you wouldn’t listen and you’re too angry to stop. He’ll listen to you complain, but when you start being physical, he stops you. He holds your hand tightly and stares at you and he waits for you to slowly calm down before he speaks, “Can I talk now?” You can tell he’s restraining himself with the way his teeth is clenched, so you look down, but you nod. He then explains himself, his tone calm, but his expression tired. And you admire him, because not once has he raised his voice on you. After he’s done, he pulls you close to him and hugs him. “Sorry,” you mumble into his chest, and you don’t see it, but he smiles. “I’m sorry, too, kitten.”

Liam: Voices have been raised and harsh words have been thrown. He explains his side and tells you he’s right, but for you, he’s not. You’re too angry to think rationally. You stop mid-fight and go to your room to sleep. You feel his side of the bed dip and you feel his snake his arms around you. He lies next to you and wraps his arms around you and whisper “I don’t want to sleep knowing you’re mad at me.” You’re quiet, but you adjust to make sure he’s comfortable as well. He kisses you on your shoulder and say, “I’m sorry.” “I’m sorry, too,” you whisper.

Louis: You sass out on him, and you know he won’t back down. You could never really stand it when he sasses out, so you walk out before things would get worse, but he immediately runs after you. “Y/N,” he shouts. you ignore him. “Y/N,” he screams louder, and you can tell he’s near you, but you don’t stop. You feel him yank you back, and he forces you to face him. “Don’t walk away. You make me feel like you’re giving up on me and I don’t think I can take it if you do.” You can see the fear in his eyes, and the anger fizzles out. You give him a chaste kiss and say, “I only did it because I know it’ll get worse if we continue fighting.” He holds your hand and takes you back inside.

Niall: His face is red from shouting, but he doesn’t stop. You listen to him shout at you, and you wait for him to stop. He only does when he sees the hurt in your eyes. He tells you he’ll sleep on the couch and get a pillow from your shared bed. You quietly sob as you tried to sleep, but you just couldn’t. You get restless, so you go to the living room, with you tightly holding unto your pillow, and you see him awake, watching TV. You stand near the couch, and you sniffle. He stares at you and when he sees you’ve been crying, he clears a part of the couch for you to sit on, and you do. You’re still holding unto your pillow and you say, “Come back to bed, Ni.” He stays quiet, but he turns off the TV. He holds your hand and walks back to your bedroom, the fight already forgotten.

Zayn: He gets jealous easily and would be very blinded by his anger that he wouldn’t even notice the harsh words he says. He only stops when you start crying, he’ll sit next to you and hold your hand. “I’ll always get jealous. I’ll be jealous if you hug the boys. I’ll probably be jealous if you’re giving your dog too much attention. That’s who I am. I won’t apologize for being me, but I’m sorry for being harsh. I’m scared that you’d leave me for someone else, and I don’t want that to happen.” You squeeze his hand and say, “I won’t leave you for someone else. Trust me. You don’t have to worry if someone flirts with me, because I don’t want them. I want you.” Your assurance would be enough to calm him down.
