Preference #9 At a wedding

Harry: At his sister’s wedding, he’s a groomsman and was standing beside the groom while you were seated near the back. Whenever he thinks no one’s looking at him, he grins at you and waves happily. You giggle at his action, and wave back. During the reception, Anne approaches you and say, “So, have you and Harry started talking about building a family?” You get surprised, but you laugh it off and say, “We’re still very young. He’s still very focused on his career and I’m not really in a rush.” She smiles at you knowingly and say, “That boy really needs to be more honest.” Unknown to you, Harry already has a ring hidden in his underwear drawer.

Liam: You were the maid-of-honor for your sister’s wedding. You were so into the moment that you didn’t notice your boyfriend, Liam, staring at you. You were in tears as you watched your only sister exchange vows with her now husband. During the reception, you danced with Liam happily. Relatives who passed by told you both “you’re next”, and you would just laugh. The two of you have started talking about settling down, but never really talked about when. Liam was quiet while dancing, but he looked happy. Soon, he pulled you away from the dance floor and brought you outside the venue. He smiled at you and said, “What do you think of October?” “Huh? What about October?” “As our wedding month.” He then kneeled down.”Will you marry me?”

Louis: During the reception, he was whisked away by your nieces and they danced happily on the dance floor. Louis danced as crazily as the children did, making them all giggle. You stood near the dance floor, watching them enjoy themselves, when your mother stood beside you, handing you a glass of wine. She watched the kids and Louis have fun, and she said to you, “He’s so good with children.” “He is. He’s the eldest in the family.” “I see.” You were both quiet for a while, then your mother patted your shoulder and smiled at you. “I wouldn’t let him go if I were you,” she then walked away. You drank your wine, watching Louis and the kids, and you felt yourself smile because you’d never dream of letting him go anyway.

Niall: Your brother was getting married and both you and Niall were part of the entourage. As you walked down the aisle, hand-in-hand, Niall whispered, “(Y/B/N) is sweating buckets.” You chuckled and stared at your brother. “I wonder if I’m going to sweat like that when we get married,” he said, and you felt your heart flutter. It’s the first time he ever mentioned marriage and you wanted to leap with joy but instead you shrugged and said, “Well, you do sweat a lot.” He chuckled louder and said, “Does it work if I put deodorant all over my body? I don’t know if…” He went on as you imagined what it would be like to marry him.

Zayn: At the reception of your cousin’s wedding, you easily caught the bouquet. Unfortunately, Zayn didn’t manage to catch the garter. Your younger cousin’s friend did. So, basically, when you sat in the middle of the dance floor, the one to place the garter on your thigh wasn’t your boyfriend. Your cousin’s friend looked at you apologetically as he placed the garter on your leg, stopping on your knee. You thank him silently and stand up, the crowd cheering. You immediately spot Zayn at the corner of the room, pouting. You approach him and kiss him on his cheeks. “I should’ve caught the garter,” he mumbles, obviously jealous. “It doesn’t matter,” you assure him. “At least I caught the bouquet, and you do know what they say about it, right?” He stops pouting and looks at you. “We’re next.” No one could wipe the grin off his face after it.
